Pros:

Amazing breakfast. Nice staff. Swimming pool, steam room etc was awesome for relaxation.

Cons:

There were no channels available on the TV. Everything cost money to watch. It should be free especially in a 5* hotel

We stay here regularly for its location and exceptional comfort level.
Pros:

We enjoyed a room on the 30th floor which is our best yet as we had a lovely city view without an office building in front of our window. The room and bed were clean and very comfortable, and the location is great to walk into the shopping district, or to Circular Quay and The Rocks for fabulous restaurants.

Stay was ok. I also use this hotel for colleagues booking city accommodation will be trying out some other venues
Pros:

Location was good

Cons:

Bathroom was a bit dirty. Not what I expected to find in a hotel with the rating you have. Mould in shower on floor. Old dodgy shower head with terrible water flow. Feels a little outdated.

Its not quite 5 star
Pros:

Amara needs a makeover and renovation in their rooms. At present it is not at a standard of a 5 star hotel. The furniture is old and scrachy, carpets are slighly worn, bathroom was fine. Nothing sparkled or stood out. I'd give it a 4.5 star. Staff are moderate, not overly friendly but acceptable.

Great breakfast, but that was about all
Pros:

I’m sorry I got to write this review and it’s quite harsh but I must deal with the facts of this Hotel.. the only good thing about this Hotel has a wonderful breakfast and the staff who work there.
But I’m afraid the rest of it isn’t that good. I am disabled and asked for a disabled room through my agents and the cleanliness and the state of this room was pretty bad when we asked to speak to the manager a gentleman came and we pointed out to him he he would look at the other disabled rooms but then came back and told us he had looked but the other rooms were in a worst-state than ours.
I congratulate him on his honesty. I have attached some pictures for you to see, but I think they need to get their act together and until they do I’m afraid I can’t write a good report on them.

Convenient, quite and did the job
Pros:

Friendly reception, prompt door opening on arrival. Lovely overall ambiance and good massage.

Cons:

Lack of amenities like ear buds and face pad. Overall a great time but furniture in the room dated. Should be able to order from restaurant direct to take to room.
