A joy - I'd love to return!
Pros:

Room was gorgeous - as were the dining and reception rooms on the ground level. Receptionist was delightful.

Cons:

It ws just lovely as it was.

Pros:

Lovely room, comfy bed, beautiful facilities and close to the river for a nice walk. Good location in town.
Buffet breakfast, good selection.
$10 food and drink voucher and chocolate on pillow a very pleasant surprise.

Cons:

The only thing that marred a perfect stay was that the fridge was not cleaned out from previous occupants and replenished.
Also, a used towel was hanging behind door.

Dated and not worth the money .

Position and closeness to town

Cons:

The hotel while in the boutique style is very dated and could use a revamp. Poor heating in foyer. Bar closed at 7pm not good for the traveller arriving late -ish. While the room was comfortable the aircon set on 20 pumped out hot air most of the night and made for an uncomfortable night. Had an upstairs room with a view as advertised, the road outer the window is the same as very other road . Hotel overrated and not worth the money.

Stepping back into a luxurious past.
Pros:

The magnificent old mansion was beautifully presented and offering stylish comfort at a very reasonable price. I would thoroughly recommend this property to the whiwly traveller looking for something a bit out of usual.. loved it a couple more nights would have been great.

Cons:

Can't think of a negative really.
I'll leave that to the nit Pickers.

Pros:

Lovely big room and spa bath
Breakfast was lovely and the staff very friendly

Cons:

A bit dated
The window did not open and I had to have the AC on all night because it was stuffy
No one explained the after hours access to me but I worked it out on returning from dinner
