Don’t be put off by the external dowdy appearance of this hotel, the inside is completely different; fresh modern interi

Really lovely, attractively modern furnished hotel; really friendly and efficient staff; terrific sized Exec room; everything we needed.

Pros:

Fairly close to East Grinstead. The hotel was easy to find. There was plenty of parking. The staff were all very friendly. The rooms were bigger than I expected. The beds were very comfortable. Small but nice swimming pool with sauna and steam room. The Hotel also gave us a complementary late checkout to 12 noon which was appreciated. I would definitely stay there again if in the area.

I wouldn't recommend this hotel.
Pros:

Breakfast was lovely in a well spaced room, choice was good and staff were excellent. I had an issue with the the first room I was allocated and it was resolved quickly and efficiently.

Cons:

Check in was slow even though we checked in on line as there was only one member of staff working. First room we were given on the ground floor had an overpowering smell of damp. The views out of the windows was like a junk yard. They need to tidy it up.
My main issue was there was no security between the entrance and the rooms. Anybody could have just walked in off the street.
Also there isn't any room service.

Roomy, comfortable and the staff went beyond expectations
Pros:

The superior double room in which we stayed was spacious, clean and very comfortable.

Cons:

We did have to change rooms because the air conditioning in our first room was making a noise which disturbed our sleep. Speaking to a maintenance man, he told us that the exceptional heat that week was putting the system under strain, so I guess normally this would not be a problem

Very noisy bathroom, water running all the time from behind the wall, aircon pump coming on for around 5-8 seconds in the middle of the night.

Short stay, but was everything we needed. Breakfast was Fantastic.
Pros:

The breakfast was outstanding, so much variety and quality was very good. Staff were helpful, friendly and polite.

Cons:

A little run down in areas and hotel room windows could do with a clean.

I wouldn’t stay at this property again.
Pros:

Location was convenient. Parking easy

Cons:

Beds very uncomfortable especially the sofa bed. Pool hours not as advertised, it closes to access about an hour earlier and pool area and changing felt grubby. Bar is pleasant but the cocktail I had was not nicely made.

Phenomenal!
Pros:

My husband and I had a wonderful spontaneous getaway to this spa retreat. The staff were amazing! Special shout out to Anna S, Mark, and Helen, they were absolutely phenomenal!

The hotel and facilities were clean, the vibe was so relaxing. We were given Elite Selection robes :)
The breakfast had a great selection and the dinner was so delicious - I loved the Chicken Schnitzel!

Thank you so much! We’d definitely recommend and would love to come back 🤍
