Well it was our 40th anniversary and they couldn't accommodate a room with a view and we were told at check in that we would receive a special package for our anniversary and never received it

Location was pretty good with walking path for people who can walk significant distances.

Cons:

The benches were covered with bird poop. The outside grass area cushions were filthy. The coffee was empty every single day and you had to wait for it to be replenished. When we went to check in they didn’t have a room and explained that they overbook and the person helping had to go to a reservationist to get our room. We planned this trip weeks in advance and it was ridiculous that they gave this excuse and for 20 minutes we thought we might not have a room. Never again would we book here.

Best choice for our family- close to amenities
Pros:

It was extremely family friendly. Outside area perfect for children with games and area large enough to run around playing. Enjoyed the free shuttle to South Pondo beach with beach butler’s who set up chairs, umbrellas, towels and waters for our day. Restaurant food was good- a little slow for serving large groups (ours was 7-10 each meal). Will be back.

Good stay for a family
Pros:

We stayed due to the location, love the beach, love the easy access to a gorgeous sunset. We stayed in the summer of 2025 and absolutely adored the hotel and our room.

This year, 2026, while we still enjoyed our stay, the mildew buildup and staining in the bathroom was disappointing for the price point. The shower and sink/caulk behind the sink (which was also partially missing) had a ton of mildew/mold staining and it was really unappealing. For what we spent, I’d expect this to not be an issue. The tile floor also looked like someone took a rotary cleaner to it with a rock or something stuck in the tool. There were circular/spiral dark gray scratches all over the bathroom floor.

On the plus side, we loved the coffee bar and the other amenities like the pool, ping pong table, and refrigerator availability.

Best coastal choice available in this category.
Pros:

First let me thank Fora Travel for this recommend, Location was perfect, The hotel layout was a little inconvenient with the only elevators on the back side of the complex and our room was on the front side. The hotel layout from an amenities stand point was perfect, the pool area was well protected from the on shore afternoon winds. Best room we stayed in along the coast, very large and modern with all the USB and power outlets you could hope for. ZERO noise !

5 star. Experience
Pros:

I was very surprised at the quality and the cleanliness of this hotel. I usually stay at the Cape Ray, but I will continue to stayat this whole hotel. The staff was so friendly and even though we were only there for one night it was an excellent experience.

Great hotel, overlooking the ocean, but not sure there is walking beach access.
Pros:

Clean and friendly staff. I would have loved to have a robe, and surprised that there was no safe. Very comfortable bed and pillows. We stayed at another hotel the night before and they had a box in the closet for all the things necessary for a pull out couch, and I think that would be a good add to a room with a pull out couch.

Check in was great with Andrew he was very accommodating and helpful. There was also the sweetest server one evening at the coast she was super cute with darker hair I wish i remembered her name but those two employees really stood out for us. Great stay over all.

Amazing Stay!
Pros:

Shiva, Corey, and their team were amazing! We had our original hotel cancel our reservation at the last minute, and we pivoted to the Hilton Garden Inn. The staff was super accommodating and made our last minute changes go smoothly. They all went above and beyond to turn our day around. We are so thankful for them and would absolutely recommend the hotel!
