Best Air-conditioning for miles around.
Pros:

The staff were very friendly and helpful and the Air-conditioning was amazing. The first proper nights sleep I've had in this heatwave. The price was really good especially considering the great breakfast and the lovely swim we had the following morning. Also so close to all the restaurants and amenities at Cheshire Oakes and just a quick hop over to Liverpool Airport.

Cons:

Nothing, we had a great stay and have booked again.

Lovely hotel in a good location
Pros:

Really good location and comfortable hotel. Great room ( we did have a superior room). Sofa was a welcome addition.
Great tea and coffee supply. Hotel staff were wonderful and the breakfast was tasty and plentiful.

Cons:

Part of the reason we booked was for the extra large double bed because my partner is 6ft 6ins however was told a few days before by automated email that all beds were king size. The bed was small for us and therefore meant we didn't sleep as well.

Bedroom views over the canal in a lovely, peaceful setting
Pros:

View of the canal from our room and at breakfast. All staff were very friendly and attentive, especially James on reception. Hotel location is fabulous!

Lovely breakfast!!

Cons:

Coffee served at breakfast was a let down , filter coffee instead of selection of lattes/cappuccino etc.

Ideal location, fair price for a night stay, wouldn’t go there if I was staying for more than one night

Bath tub had crystal bits on the surface (must be really old)
Tv had a damage line across the screen, and it kept crashing so I couldn’t watch it in the end, I don’t know if this was a satellite problem. Would be nice to have a smart tv so I could have streamed my own shows

Pros:

The stay was comfortable; the air conditioning worked perfectly. The facilities are above standard compared to other hotels.

It is built for all types of stays and is very family-friendly.

The breakfast option is standard, nothing extraordinary, and I am slightly disappointed that the cinnamon cereal I usually have is not available.

Two thumbs up to Rosal, who assisted us with breakfast. She is attentive and goes above and beyond. She made a simple breakfast an experience, always walking around with a smile. Keep up the great work.

Cons:

The building, including the room, needs a major refurbishment. The bathtub is damaged, the carpet either needs a serious shampoo clean and the window requires changing.
