Pros:

Staff was helpful and tried their best to extend our stay when informed that we had someone sick in our entourage.
Breakfast was included so is a very good deal.
Location was great - convenient with many options nearby.
Parking was convenient and reasonably priced compared.

Cons:

Room was tight for group of 4 pax with little space to open up our luggage.

Great hotel in central position with good facilities.
Pros:

All facilities exceeded my expectations. Great attached restaurant with good dining options. Breakfast was varied and fresh.
All staff very attentive and helpful. I will stay again and can reccommend to others.

A wonderful stay
Pros:

We had a very good stay at the Holiday Inn Hotel. The breakfast was good and the reception and restaurant staff were very polite. We would like to take this opportunity to thank Mr Fredi {hope I got the spelling right},at the reception who was extremely helpful, showing us the route to take to reach the water front for our trip to Rottnest Island, the way to Chinatown by foot as well as the bus to take to the Botanical gardens. It was also very convenient to take the tour to the Pinnacles for star glazing as the hotel is one of the pick-up points.

A disappointing time for2 nights for $660 for a small gloomy room.
Pros:

The hotel was close to the cbd. Most of the staff were nice but didn’t communicate effectively when they offered an upgrade. They did give us 2 standard drink vouchers.They didn’t pass on the whole information which was a better room & view until it was too late.

Cons:

It had ongoing noisy renovations. There was a very unattractive outlook. The cheap room paintings were awful. The lifts were tiny, dirty & slow. The fridge didn’t even fit in a wine bottle. It was dark and gloomy overall. We tried to have breakfast- too too long for the order, so we had to give up. The manager at reception said it’s wasn’t viable to offer vegetarian or vegan options. Pretty dated idea.

Cons:

1. If you need to work on your laptop, the nearest electric socket is about 3m away near the door. So carry the extender. Can't imagine the guy who planned only 2-3 sockets in the room. One is for light near one of 2 beds and another 1 or 2 (don't remember) near the entrance, used by the kettle. Good table in the room without nearby electricity, but with Ethernet cable! Anybody still uses such things? :)
2. We got a room near the elevator, so it felt like we stayed in some engineering facility. The noise was incredible. I couldn't sleep all night. Although after an hour I could easily guess the floor that the next guest takes in the lift just by counting seconds! My request to move was declined, because allegedly no vacant rooms were available. The lady asked me if I wanted to add to my profile that I didn't like to stay 'near the elevators' :) Anybody likes?
3. I booked it just for 1 night before flying back home in the morning. Couldn't sleep. Couldn't properly use my laptop without power extender, which I didn't have.
