Beautiful property but probably not worth the headache.
Pros:

It was very clean and the design was nice.

Cons:

The communication between the property and booking was quite literally terrible. Booking lets you choose “pay at property” but doesn’t specify at all what types of payment they take. Property denies cash, debit or debit visas (even though that’s what was booked with) so credit card only. The young man at the desk was also extremely rude (to us and the other guests asking him for help), had no idea what he was talking about and went back on essentially everything he said was “policy” to support the new information he was saying. The manager was ultimately more helpful (though he originally denied there was even one on shift) and we ended up having to get a late check in at a different hotel due to the lack of information provided by the hotel/displayed by booking.

Beautiful!
Pros:

The staff at check-in and check-out were exceptionally friendly and helpful, we even got upgraded to a nicer room with a beautiful view. The cookies at check-in were an absolute treat! Everything felt super new and modern, the shower was spacious, the whole room wonderfully laid-out. The AC worked flawlessly and was barely to be heard while doing so.
With the windows closed, the traffic noise was also well kept-out.

Cons:

We would have loved more cookies 😋
Honestly, if this hotel wasn't located at a busy intersection, it would be perfect!

Pros:

Hotel looks to have been recently refurbished and is very nice. Staff were very helpful. Cafe downstairs was great as was restaurant next door.

Cons:

We didn’t have a car so the location was a bit out of the way for us.

I loved the clean and bright foyer with the coffee and pastry shop!! Such an improvement!
The bathrooms in the rooms were beautiful and I loved the Crabtree products!

Probably the best Holiday Inn I’ve ever stayed in
Pros:

Free parking - hate having to pay extra to park my car in a hotel car park so made a nice change😁
Free upgrade to a suite - newly refurbed (probably first people to stay in it)

Cons:

Ce n’était pas la chambre avec douche accessible en fauteuil roulant mais avec une baignoire et ma femme a eu un grave accident
Si j’avais le temps je ferai une poursuite judiciaire contre vous
