Nice little spa in Corby
Pros:

The staff were lovely and so helpful, and the food is really good.

Cons:

The jacuzzi is very ON and then OFF with strong short bursts of excited water!!

On a busy roundabout but comfortable stay

Tatty, tired looking bedroom which had some recent lipstick but the pig still remained very visible.
Pros:

Staff were pleasant throughout the hotel, thats the only good point

Cons:

Very shabby rundown room, years of built up stains in the u-bend, bathroom door was beaten up and rotting through shower leaks, bathroom door handle held together only by the rust that had accumulated, bathroom mirrors looked 50 years old with rust around all edges. Room 105 if management read this...! Oh and if you stay here, go out somewhere for dinner unless you enjoy microwaved food. I wouldnt normally leave a bad review for a hotel that is doing the best they can and charging the appropriate room rate, but this is Holiday Inn chain and I paid £170 for one night.

Pros:

Everything was great.

Cons:

Sausages at the breakfast a tiny bit dry. Glasses for the juice at breakfast too small. Shower head was gross, needs replacing.

Absolutely horrific
Pros:

I am absolutely livid about my stay here, it was a very special occasion marking my brothers death anniversary.
My daughter and myself were trapped in a tiny lift with another guest for over 20 minutes. My daughter was traumatised. When staff were approached they said “we can’t control the lifts”
I was late for the family meal.
The iron didnt work, when I tried to call reception…. The phone didn’t work.
The shower was absolutely disgusting with dirt and pubic hairs. (I have taken pictures)
I wouldlike a full refund for my stay here or I shall be reporting the holiday inn and booking.com to trading standards.
This was an extremely unpleasant stay at a very emotional time for my daughter and myself!!!!

Cons:

Trapped in lift with my child.
Staff were unbothered by this completely .
Shower was disgustingly we actually showered down at the pool area.
Dirty water in kettle
Iron didnt work
Phone to reception didnt work
