Avoid it is dated and needs a refurb.

Nice location by the golf course.

Cons:

Rooms are quite dated, no fridge in room, no air conditioning just a desk fan. Windows do not open very far so it gets extremely warm on a hot day. Strangely the air conditioning in the restaurant and bar area is fridge like, almost too cold to have dinner. The swimming area is awful, full of rowdy kids, no staff keeping an eye on them, pool is too small. The stair wells and corridors fwt no air and are stuffy and smell very musty, probably the old carpets. It just is not very nice.

Cons:

The room was so unbelievably hot. Yes its been hot, we didn't stay on the hottest day. We had a cheap fan in the room, it didnt nothing, we held a piece of paper in front of the fan and didnt blow the paper at all. This is the Hilton for goodness sake. It has been boiling. Do something. There are mobile air con units. More powerful fans. Room coolers. We weren't well due to the heat and my dog suffered as well. I have had much better facilities in a Travel Lodge.

Great hotel, ideal for visiting the Cotswolds.
Pros:

Great location, beautiful building in picturesque location yet close to motorway.

Cons:

Weather was extremely hot when we visited and whilst communal areas had air con, rooms didnt.
Wouldn’t stop us from visiting again though.

If a golfer it would be a fine hotel. If not avoid!

As a non golfer not much.

Cons:

Everything was just average except for the room which was below average and expensive. Staff were generally rather surly and unhelpful and our original room was like the black hole of Calcutta with no through air and a porthole window that opened a mere crack to stop people falling out so we had to upgrade and pay even more for “average”. Food was also very average. Good bar though.

Cons:

Tea and coffee but no biscuits in room. Charging for mini golf (not mentioned). No dress code in dining-room:scruffy jeans, shorts, trainers.

Pros:

Room was good. Very calm area where the hotel is placed. In the nature. Staff was very friendly. Had a very good dinner in the onsite restaurant. Breakfast was rich and nice.

Cons:

After booking, I got the information from reception that no air-condition would be available. A fan was provided for the room.

The friendly staff of the breakfast and the breakfast with a variety of food .

Cons:

The old plumping , the old wiring , the noise of the doors when closing , the windows are not closing well
A serious immediate renovation need for all the rooms .
