It was very clean
Cons:

I paid cash In full then I was told they cash I paid was not in full. So they took about over £40 extra from me at that time when I gave cash I always check I even told the staff to make sure everything was okay.. she said everything is fine enjoy your stay and after few hours she said I didn’t pay her in full and start getting other staff involved start calling me saying I still haven’t paid in full. Was so disappointed and felt I was being scammed. Never had this experience from holiday inn the staff always been great and so kind. I asked them to show me video footage and they refused to show me any footage. Would never go back again.

Pros:

The pool area, the bar area is nice & welcoming. Staff are nice, room warm

Cons:

We had bought a package with evening meal and breakfast. The food was awful! We didn’t eat it and returned 80% of it. The hotel receptionist was very helpful and refunded us what we paid for the food.

Pros:

Location wasn't pretty, but very convenient. Liked the late check-out and the relaxed vibe. Our room (045) was on the ground floor at the back and was very quiet.

Cons:

Food was okay - plentiful, but plain. Serving staff were helpful and courteous (though the dark-haired girl at breakfast needs to be aware that guests who are eating haven't lost their ability to hear). The slim girl with the high-pitched voice was extremely professional, but the other girl - who was cheery and welcoming - was clearly trying to engage her in conversation about dissatisfied staff feeling intimidated/getting ready to walk awa, etc. She seemed like a nice person, but needs to be reminded of the main purpose to her being in that place at that time. It's a pity to give a poor impression of herself when I believe she could do so much better.

Pros:

There was a girl who worked on reception i cant remember her name but she checked us in i couldnt fault her she was helpful and welcoming we were told the pool was open till 8pm as stated online aswell we called the hotel to confirm this as we were running late and were paying for the room at check in that was 170 pound there was a similar hotel a couple of minutes away for 95 pound without a pool we were thinking there no point for 1 hours swim we arrived at 6.30pm checked in went to the pool at 7pm to be told in the separate lesure building to be told it closes at 7.40pm I was in the steam room 7.35pm was told to leave as it takes 20 mins to clean up this was disappointing as we wouldn't of booked it

Being lied to about the pool closing times and our room stunk of damp dog soon as yoy walked in and dogs barking all night in the hotel rooms

The heated pool, the friendly staff! Shout out to Leah and Aimee or (Amy) sorry for the misspelling, both made my baby, dog and myself feel so welcome. Loved the baby play area.

I had to leave the accommodation and find some where to stay the carpets had stains the bed sheets and mattress was badly stained when I complained e I was told they would change the beds waited a further half an no staff came back I have requested a full refund which the hotel agreed at the time please could you follow up and get my money back thank you
