Only one elevator worked
• The hotel was overall fine and clean.
• Our room was quite spacious with a large window (unfortunately, it did not open).
• We received one complimentary bottle of water per person.
• There was a decently sized parking lot available.
• Breakfast was standard with no vegetables, but it offered waffles, eggs, apples, and bananas.
• Coffee was available in the room, but unfortunately, our selection only included decaf options.
• The air conditioning unit was quite noisy and seemed like it had not been cleaned in a long time.
Everything was nice at this location
Arriviamo in struttura dopo ore di viaggio in macchina, facciamo il check-in e ci vengono consegnate le chiavi. Appena entrati in camera ci accorgiamo che il soffitto è rovinato è sembrano esserci infiltrazioni d'acqua, ma essendo stanchi dal lungo viaggio ci mettiamo subito a riposare.
Durante la notte piove molto, e al mattino la brutta sorpresa. Ha piovuto in camera dal soffitto bagnando diversi capi di abbigliamento miei e di uno dei due miei figli.
Scendiamo e facciamo presente al ragazzo della reception quanto accaduto, il quale con modo sgarbato si scusa e in aggiunta chiede cosa stiamo chiedendo! Cosa stiamo chiedendo? Che ci venga rimborsato parte di ciò che abbiamo pagato per il disservizio! Alchè ci chiede di lasciare una mail per farci avere una tempestiva risposta da chi dirige la struttura. Ad oggi ( sono passati già alcuni giorni ) ancora nulla, pur avendo noi inviato una mail.
La struttura sta facendo una pessima figura con i loro clienti.
The property was clean, and the staff was friendly and helpful throughout our stay. The only downside is that it’s a bit far from downtown Chicago, so getting to the main attractions takes some time approximately an hour. They offer complimentary breakfast each morning, which is decent but fairly basic. If you’re vegetarian, the breakfast options are quite limited. Overall, it’s a good place to stay if you don’t mind being a little outside the city center.
Needed to book two rooms for our son’s surgery at Central DuPage County Hospital (Northwestern) -his room for one night and ours for two nights. Both rooms had been nicely remodeled and were very comfortable. Did not get a chance to enjoy some of the amenities as both days were extremely long at the hospital . This is a great choice if needing to access the hospital-10 minutes away and an easy route. Juliet was especially wonderful while booking our rooms. Will need to be going back for itional surgeries and will definitely sit here.
I am extremely disappointed with my experience at the Hampton Inn in Carol Stream.
For a hotel charging approximately $250 per night, the level of customer service is unacceptable. There was no one at the front desk when I needed assistance, and no one answered the phone despite my calling repeatedly for about 20 minutes from two different phones.
To make matters worse, my room was never cleaned during my stay, and the television does not work—it only displays “No Signal.” At this price point, these are basic services and amenities that guests should be able to expect.
Guests should not have to search for staff or be left without any way to get help. This experience has been frustrating and does not reflect the standards I expect from a Hampton Inn. I would not recommend this hotel unless these serious customer service and maintenance issues are addressed.
The staff were friendly and helpful.
1. The in room furniture was ugly and uncomfortable. It's obvious that they bought the cheapest possible.
2. The room keys kept getting erased. My party had 4 rooms
. Everyone of us, as well as other guests, had to repeatedly go back to the front desk for new key cards.
They told us to keep the key card away from our cellphone. I don't think the cellphone had anything to do with the problem.
3. No one attended the room where breakfast was given. Dirty tables. Styrofoam plates, plastic cutlery. Once again, the cheapest service possible.
