Staff was super nice
Clean
This hotel gives all the bed-and breakfast vibes! It is cozy and has all the charm of staying in the low country of South Carolina.
Breakfast was good and well stocked. The hotel is in good condition.
Hot water near coffee was gone and I couldn’t make tea.
The fourth floor smelled like weed. This is so off putting.

More control of noisy guests
Hampton Inn and Suites Citadel Haven Drive Charleston, SC was a very pleasant place to stay. Everything was clean and all staff friendly. Room was ready when we arrived. The one person we saw consistently was Louise at the front desk. She was pleasant and helpful with information and anything we asked. This was the nicest Hampton we have stayed in during our travels.

Great, clean hotel. Staff were all courteous, always cleaning, working. The pool was clean and had lots of seating and gathering areas for our larger family with little kids. Dining room was a great size and breakfast was delicious with plenty to choose from.

Our stay at this hotel was very pleasant. The people at the front desk were most helpful and polite. The room itself is roomie and clean eventhe carpet. The bathroom was also space spacious and had all of the enmity that I need the breakfast. Food was also very good. We particularly like waffles which we enjoy every day.
Even though this hotel is off a busy intersection, it is tucked back with some trees, we heard very little traffic noise. Young girl at check in was very welcoming and sweet. Large lobby/breakfast area offering different seating choices. The decor has a nice coastal feel. Nice relaxing large outdoor pool area but there is no shade. Issues with this property were in the bathroom. The glass sliding shower door doesn't stay shut. It was very difficult holding the door shut with one hand and trying to shave your legs with the other. Also, they did not have body wash in the shower. Housekeeping services is only every other day, clearly do not understand that at all. At check out we mentioned to the lady the shower door issue. She was not friendly at all. No apologize, nothing. Really did not seem to care.
