Not to much
It was very noisy. The rooms we’re not clean every day they are shortage of towels, kept asking staff for tiles never got it. Very uncomfortable will not ever stay there again.
Shortage of towels. Staff was not friendly. Hotel was very noisy and uncomfortable.
I didn't eat breakfast, left hotel at 4:30am. Some bathroom fixtures needed work. Hidden behind bathroom door was messy tile application.
The distance from airport to motel was longer than expected. at least 30 minutes, and van pickup site at airport was in a parking lot, not in the area where many other motels/hotels are waiting. Very confusing.
Good location, lots of free parking, big rooms
You can hear everything happening in the hallway, doors of other rooms opening and closing, families walking with kids screaming. When walking from parking to hotel there should be some type of roof to cover from rain.
We just checked out of the Hampton Inn on Severn in Metairie Louisiana.
We are HGVC owners and Gold HH.
I can honestly say this should not call itself a Hilton product. There was so much that made this stay sad and disgusting. We had a family reunion at the Homewood Suites a couple miles away. We should have stayed there. It was immaculate and well managed.
Our stay started with our checked in rooms at 3:25 we’re not ready. We had two rooms for 3 nights. I was told she could put my son, daughter and grandson in a room but the doors sticks. I figured that would be ok. She had room for us but 4 levels from the kids. We had to unload a car full from the car of items for the reunion and had driver 7 hours so we took it.
We unloaded and left the room to bring the other items to the meeting room at Homewood for the reunion.
Shortly after my son arrived. I met him with the key. We got to the room with the sticking door. My son scanned and went to open it. It literally dropped down and hung. The top hinge had stripped screws and the hinge was not holding the door. I went down and told them it doesn’t stick it’s not attached. She then had another room cleaned. I told her the requested crib was not in that room to please send one to the new room.
Now it’s time to shower for reunion so I returned to our room. I’m in the shower and look up and see a ceiling full of mold. The bath had no vent so it was very musty and moldy. After I was done I asked for another room. I did not need to get sick from mold.
Below you will see pictures of the crib they sent, the disgusting shower floor in the old room and the bed room, the mold, the disgusting pool, the mildewed entry mats, the plants sling the courtyard and the window by the breakfast buffet.
It’s disgusting and unexceptionable. I can’t believe the points they charged for this. I would like someone to follow up with me.
One last thing: upon getting into the elevator to check out the house keeping young lady told us you know how many rooms I have today? My daughter said how many. She said 28 and I can’t go home till they’re done. So calculate that. How many minutes can she spend cleaning the rooms. How thorough of a job will be done!!!
All good
The carpet was dirty. The toilet didn't flush properly. The bathroom sink didn't train very well. Killed a couple of bugs. Breakfast items were very minimal.
See above.
During our stay, we encountered multiple significant issues. My key issues include the following:
We were relocated twice due to maintenance problems. In the first instance, the room doors did not close properly, and one door would not open at all, even when the front desk attempted to access it to enter. This was a SERIOUS security issue that was not caught and corrected by housekeeping or maintenance/engineering. The silver tape on the doors was also a concern. It appeared as if someone could possibly enter the room with this "device" placed on the door. We did not feel safe so we had to purchase door stoppers so that no one would enter the room while occupied and so that we could get a good night's sleep without worrying about someone illegally entering our rooms.
Our second relocation was due to persistent flickering lights and the smell of mold, which made the room unusable.
After finally settling into our third rooms, we discovered there was no hot water available throughout the ENTIRE hotel. This lasted throughout the day, that night and the following morning. As a result, we were unable to shower that night and next morning and had to leave for planned outings feeling uncomfortable and unclean. The failure to have basic hot water lasted approximately 24 hours.
The air conditioning in one of the rooms was not functioning properly. Despite setting the thermostat to 50°F, the temperature did not drop below 71°F, making it difficult to sleep comfortably in a a warm room.
The sink had extremely low water pressure, making basic hygiene tasks like washing my face and brushing my teeth very difficult.
Additionally, one room did not have a coffee maker, which was an unnecessary inconvenience.
Also, the toilet didn't flush properly in 1 room, I had to try to flush the toilet at least 3 times for the toilet to be able to completely flush. This was very unsanitary as I had to leave the toilet I unflushed as I had to leave for an event.
Gurgling sounds coming from the sink.
Mineral build up and particles came from the shower and faucet that sat in both drainages. It looked like dirt.
Overall, the repeated room changes, lack of basic amenities, and unresolved maintenance issues made this stay unacceptable, unsettling with major discomfort. These repeated issues caused a seriously major disruption in our paid vacation weekend and did not meet expected Hilton Standards. We were so embarrassed to attend our paid reserved tours and events unclean due to not being able to take a shower due to no hot water.
I have pics and a video of the slow water pressure. The hotel was made aware of these issues. While we were out on a food tour and other events, we phoned guest services to see if the hot water was fixed and it still wasn't. This made our day even more stressful not knowing if we would have 2 days of not being able to take a simple shower. As of this day and 45 days later, NO ONE from Hilton has made an attempt to contact me about below par standards and resolution to this problem and a reply to this review would be useless to me at this point. A reply should have been received when the issue happened. A stay at Motel 6 would have been better. NEVER AGAIN AT THIS LOCATION. ITVWAS A HORRIBLE EXPERIENCE. The manager did not care. You should be ashamed.

The location and the cleanliness of the hotel was good. The staff was cooperative.
