Disappointing overall - poor value for money, underwhelming service, and not a destination we would recommend for a fami
Pros:

The location of property is very convenient, closer to airport, Ambience Mall.

Cons:

We visited this property with our family expecting a relaxing weekend getaway, but unfortunately, the experience fell far short of what we would expect from a property positioning itself as a premium resort.

Room & Bedding

* We had booked a King Size bed, but the bed provided felt much smaller and was closer to a Queen Size bed. This made it uncomfortable for a family stay.
* The mattress quality was disappointing and lacked the comfort and support expected from a luxury property.

Bathroom Amenities

* The towels appeared old, rough, and heavily used. Their quality was more in line with what one might expect at a mid-range 3-star hotel rather than a 5-star establishment.

Resort vs Hotel Experience

* The property is marketed as a “resort,” but in reality, it felt more like a standard business hotel with a larger green area around it.
* Apart from the open space, there were very few resort-style amenities or activities that would justify calling it a family resort.
* In our opinion, the property is better suited for corporate stays and business travelers than families looking for a leisure weekend.

Food & Dining

* The food quality and taste were below average and did not match the standards expected at this price point.
* Surprisingly, several dishes were priced at par with, and in some cases even higher than, luxury properties such as ITC Bharat, despite offering a significantly inferior dining experience.

Pool & Service

* The pool area appeared understaffed, with little to no housekeeping presence during our visit. Staff didn’t knew how to open the recliner pool chairs.
* Overall staffing levels seemed thin, which impacted service responsiveness and guest experience.

While the property has potential because of its green surroundings, the overall experience did not justify the premium positioning or pricing. As a family looking for a weekend retreat, we left disappointed and would not consider it a true resort destination.

Had a wonderful one-night stay at The Grand New Delhi. The hotel ambience was luxurious and peaceful, perfect for a family stay. The rooms were clean, spacious, and very comfortable. The hospitality was truly impressive, and special thanks to Krishna from the front desk for being extremely polite, helpful, and making our stay even more pleasant. The food quality and breakfast spread were excellent with plenty of options. Overall, it was a relaxing and memorable experience. Highly recommended for anyone looking for a luxury stay in Delhi.
