The Beaufort Hotel

All the rest. The room was at -1, you can literally hear everything that happen in all the room around, they lost my luggage the first day without any good reason (I had to communicate it to the police to have it back the next day). Even after that no one of the hotel offer any compensation.
The only compensation was the room not tidy up the next day , and I had to ask for that service again in the night.
For sure one of the worst experience in my life (and I travel pretty often for business).

I’d like better coffee service in the lobby. I wish the terrace from the bedroom that the doors or windows open.

The only aspect that could be improved is the noise, particularly in the corridors. During my stay, other guests’ luggage was often left directly outside my door, and the constant movement of bags being dropped off and collected inevitably caused some disturbance. A little more attention to this detail would make the stay even more pleasant and peaceful.

Excellent service!. Friendly staff. Great location (5 minutes walking to Harrods). The room was small, I upgraded to Junior suite, but was small for me and my two kids. Also, the interior was a bit outdated (especially the elevator), though it gives the hotel the vintage style. Otherwise, was great location for most of famous London Cafes, shops, and restaurants. Thank you!

Slightly noise but that would be being picky

My room was very small. In fact, it was SO small, the door hit the bed when anyone walked in. Not only that, the carpet was obviously old, worn and looked very dirty. The bathroom was "chopped up". I had to go up two stairs to use the toilet
(at 67, that was fun in the middle of the night.) The shower was so small I had a hard time holding my arms up to wash my hair. I literally had to wash one side at a time. The shower head was barley spitting out water, and the shower drain blocked up with soap/water so that my feet were completely underwater every time I took a shower. Once, it overflowed out into the sink area. The view out my window had a spectacular view of windows with metal bars in the shops behind me, which was almost as good as my view of the alley's trash dumpsters.
My children, on the other had, had multiple rooms at the facility because of a scheduling glitch. In ten days, my children were moved to four different rooms, all of which were big, luxurious, and looked recently redecorated. Their bedding was even more plush than mine.
They day I checked out (I was on the second floor) I couldn't get the lift to work. Apparently, it was broken. NO SIGN TO THAT FACT.
Then I had to carry my luggage down the stairs. The best part was, on the day the lift was out, some genius decided to paint the handrails, so there WAS a sign that said, "Wet Paint, do not touch." Again, I'm 67 and almost fell down the stairs with my heavy bags.
I was also very, very, VERY disappointed in the customer service. It seemed that English was a recent second language to the staff. I had to repeat myself MANY times, until they had to get the only person there that COULD speak fluent English. Listen, I don't mind people learning on the job, but it was VERY inconvenient for me, as we only interacted with the staff when we were coming, or going. It was a lovely tree lined street, convenient to shops, etc.
