The staff is very professional and accommodating. The property is immaculate and comfortable. The club floor offerings available during the day are adequate, despite the breakfast options being few. In a word, this property is lovely and, clearly, well-run. Erica, especially, is a delight.

Wonderful location, staff and amenities. Room was quiet, spacious and comfortable. Excellent restaurant, rooftop bar, and community reading room. Proximity to Bryant Park, Times Square, and Grand Central Station is an added bonus. We spent the week exploring all corners of the city. Coming “home” to our room at The Library Hotel made our stay all the more enjoyable. We will be back!

Vey convenient location.

I loved everything about our stay at Library Hotel. The staff was friendly and professional… I felt like they truly cared about our needs. Our room was comfortable and well-appointed… we had everything we needed. The coffee lounge was accessible and well-stocked, and the rooftop bar was fun space to enjoy a cocktail and snack. Lastly, the location is absolutely perfect for exploring Manhattan.

Rooms though could do with an upgrade - walk in shower better than bath; better multiple plug access.
Breakfast very simple

The concept is well realized, with books available all throughout the hotel. I thought the place was very tastefully decorated and really gives that old school New York vibe, and you cannot fault the location, just a street away from Grand Central station. There were some really lovely members of staff there too.

Lovely hotel with a library room with refreshments as well as a roof top bar. My room was one of the smaller ones, and therefore cheaper, but plenty big enough for what I needed. A very comfy bed and welcome aircon. Close enough to things but far enough away to be quiet inside. Would definitely stay again and would recommend it.

Central location next to Grand Central Station

I really liked the Library hotel and would stay here again. Everything was great - I had the small double bed room and it was perfectly fine. Shower good, aircon was fantastic - really cold and I could turn it on and off as needed. Small tv but i wasn't staying there to watch it anyway. Good reception and I got my room deposit back within 4 days so well done to library on that. Very nice bar and terrace on top floor which I did use with nice big tv to watch world cup. Restaurant on ground floor looked very good and airy but I didnt use it. Free tea, coffee and pastries on 2nd floor for those staying at hotel in a very nice room with a grand piano. Best location I have stayed in when in New York, subway 5 minutes walk and very lively area.

Old but clean

A perfect hotel for any book lover. We loved the spirit and atmosphere, and the location on "Library Way," near the Library and Bryant Park, allowed us to carry this theme throughout the trip. The Junior Suite is large enough for two people even if they are not a couple, and the counter space is quite generous. We also appreciated the Reading Room, available for comfortable reading or work space and complementary croissants, coffee, soft drinks, fruit, etc. at all hours -- particularly nice if one of you is an early morning person and the other is not. A very special stay.

The location is very convenient and busy. It is easy to accomplish everything, banking, shopping, Grand Central Station just one block away. Very close to Bryant Park which is always fun.

It is a quiet hotel designed for quiet adults. I did not eat at the restaurant but it looked very nice

The staff is great. The room was clean and comfortable. Still has scaffolding blocking the views. I wish they would bring back the continental breakfast. What they offer now is slight. The restaurant breakfast isn’t great.
