ROOM 414 termite infestation. Nostalgic sure, suitable for a bug free stay-no.
Pros:

The only nice thing about this hotel is the location. Other than that it is old and decrepit.

Cons:

ROOM 414 was infested with termintes. The door jam was rotted and they were either coming from there for the baseboards on the floor. At 11:30 at night we left the room but since they were sold out there was no where for us to go. We had to play more money for a last minute hotel room at another place. They ended up refunding the stay but with the caveat that an inspector came to the room and found NOTHING. Beware of this facilite. Nostalgic sure, clean no. See pictures. I have a video but can't upload the live termites flying about. The room smelled musty too. We had to open the windows. They didn't feel OBLIGATED to go beyond the refund even though I had to spend over 300$ more to stay at another hotel.

1 male staff member on reception very nice.

Cons:

1 femsle member of staff rude. She should not be the 1st face of the hotel.
Advertised parking but no parking.
Noisy room beneath some stairs meaning interupted sleep several times

Enjoyable stay in a character Hotel.
Pros:

A real character Hotel with very friendly and helpful staff. We really enjoyed our stay. If you want to move outside the standard chain hotels this could be for you. Mobile or catering but located in the middle of town so everything is convenient.

Cons:

Nothing not to like.

Enjoyable and comfortable stay.
Pros:

Pleasant hotel, room was comfortable. Staff were pleasant and helpful. Close to the sea front, pier and restaurants.

Cons:

Carpets appeared worn in some areas. Hotel is lovely and characterful but could do with a little revamp.

This was a horribke place to stay.
Pros:

Good location, near the sea.

Cons:

The property was scruffy, untidy, dirty. One of the worse hotels I have ever stayed at. Forgot to mention the horrible smell throughout the premises. The toilet kept blocking up. As well. You can tell the owners do not care about this hotel or their guests. This should not be in booking.com

Clean rooms and friendly staff, no ac room can make it hard to sleep. Location is good but can hear the cars pretty loud

Location was good

Cons:

Noise from room above interrupted my sleep. People climbing up and down the stairs. Need more insulation or better carpeting to absorb the noise from footsteps!
