Important information:

Based on local tax laws, guests with a tourist visa to Israel are exempted from paying VAT for their reservation. Israeli citizens and residents ("non tourists" as defined in the VAT law) must pay VAT. This tax is automatically calculated in the total cost of the reservation for domestic customers. For guests booking from outside of Israel, the tax is not included in the total price.

The full amount of the stay will be charged to the credit card provided during booking 14 days before arrival. In case of late cancellation or no-show, the credit card will be refunded the full amount minus the one-night cancellation fee. Please note that check-in time may be delayed on Saturdays and on Jewish holidays. During this time, rooms will be ready only 2 hours after sunset. Please note that children under 16 years old cannot access the wellness center.Guests are required to show a photo ID and credit card upon check-in. Please note that all Special Requests are subject to availability and additional charges may apply.

Ein Gedi kibbutz hotel and spa...remote, relaxing, restorative
Pros:

The setting of the kibbutz hotel in Ein Gefi is a magnificent desert oasis. The kibbutzim have turned the area into a botanical garden and nature preserve. We even saw an adult ibex wandering about. The spa and pool are completely relaxing. Our room, right along the promenade facing the mountains was clean and quiet. No microwave...meals are in the communal dining room, and they are absolutely delicious. Meals are buffet style with a great variety of breads, Salads, and entrees. This was a special, relaxing vacation for us in a remote, extremely comfortable place.

Cons:

It would be a plus if the kibbutz hotel could provide rides to Ein Gedi and to Masada. There are buses, but having something more convenient would be great. The kibbutz spa and pool were enough activity for us, but if we had teens I'm not sure there would have been enough for them. The price was steeper than I am used to, but then, again, I am not a big consumer of spa vacations. Overall, these are quibbles. The Ein Gedi kibbutz hotel is one of my very favorite places and I hope to return some day.

אם היה מחיר של מלון בקיבוץ לא הייתה ציפייה גבוה והיה סבבה אבל שילמנו הרבה כסף וזה לא היה שווה את זה.

הסביבה מאוד יפה, הצמחייה מהממת, הבריכה נקיה וגדולה, הבר החלבי היה טעים

Cons:

האוכל בחדר אוכל היה ממש מאכזב, שום דבר לא היה ממש חם, היה פשוט מאוד ולא ממש טרי וטעים
האמבטיה קטנה נורא צריך לפתוח את הדלת עד הסוף לקפוץ למקלחת לסגור את הדלת ולהתיישב בשירותים
היה ריח לא טוב מהמזגן
השולחן בחוץ היה מלא קקי של ציפורים
באופן כללי הייתה תחושה שלא ממש הכינו את החדר לקראתנו אלא שהיה סגור כל החורף ואנחנו האורחים הראשונים של העונה

הבילויי בקיבוץ היה מושלם. יש לקיבוץ המון מה להציע לאורחיו (קצרה היריעה מלתאר את היופי, המרחבים, השרות) וברמה גבוהה. אנחנו מתארחים לעיתים בקיבוצים אבל אף פעם לא הרגשנו בבית כפי שחווינו בעין גדי אנו מודים לכם על האירוח הנפלא וחום הלב.

Прекрасное место.Отель находится внутри чудесного ботанического сада.Окружен очень красивыми горами, вдали прекрасный вид на Мертвое море.Обильный,разнообразный завтрак.Очень удобно,что имеется бар-кафе в котором можно выпить чашечку кофе с выпечкой,а так же пообедать.Подают и суп,и ,салаты,и основные блюда по выбору.

Cons:

Не очень понравился бассейн с водой Мертвого моря.Ощущение грязной воды и сам бассейн узкий.

Pros:

האוכל היה טעים ומגוון, גם בוקר וגם ערב. נחמד שיש עוד אפשרויות, כמו הבר החלבי ועגלת הבשרים.
הצ'י קונג היה ממש כייף, הטיפולים בספא מצויינים.
האירוח היה לבבי בכל מובן. צוות שירותי ונעים.

Cons:

היה מאד חם אז לקח לחדר הרבה זמן להתקרר, מניחה שאין הרבה מה לעשות. אולי רק להדליק את המזגן לפני בוא האורחים בימים חמים. ולהשאיר שמיכות דקות יותר להחלפה.

מאד אהבתי את הזביבה ואת הקיבוץ היתי מאוכזת מאד מהמחיר לעומת מה שקבלנו

היתה גבוהה מאר יחסית למה שקבלנו. בנוסף היה יום שלמרות המחיר ששילמנו המתנו שעה בחום מחוץ לבריכה בטענה שאין אפשרות להכניס יותר מ-100 איש.
דבר נוסף שהיה מאד לא נוח היא הזמינות של מתו השירות
לא ענו בטלפון עוד כשנסינו לבצע ההזמנה. אחכ במזן השהות לא מהנייד ולא מהחדר וגם כשהגענו ללובי היתה זמן המתנה שבהרבה מקרים ויתרנו כיון והצוות היה עסוק והיה תור שלם שהמתין לפקיד

An amazing journey in a unique and small oasis...
Pros:

The staff is kind and efficient. The view is fantastic. The bathroom is great. The bar restaurant is pleasant. The spa is fine. The botanical gardens are a real happiness. The birds songs in the morning...

Cons:

Just a small (but important) remark: At the spa, the floors and stairs are slippery. Appropriate carpets would be most welcomed. An additional remark that does not concern only you: There is no beach anymore in Ein Gedi. All the dates and fruits plantations as well as the vineyard (apparently) have been abandoned. This is a sad sight. There are so many things the Kibbutz could initiate in this magnificent area.
