very good place to stay in kangaroo island
Room was spacious
Staff. All throughout the facility the all day bar and lounge being open as promoted. When I attempted to enter at 4.55pm I was told it was closed. I showed Max the QR code compendium where it very clearly states the bar is open all day from 11am for drinks. Max advised that he was new and because there weren’t many guests the bar/lounge was closed til staff arrived. I arrived back at 5:45pm and was met with a rude, argumentative Soni was stipulated that I needed to be considerate of her and the staff 😮 Soni continued with her attitude towards me whilst I was having dinner and I left before I was finished as the atmosphere was too unpleasant. Train your staff!
I've never seen a hotel room with a bigger bed, a bigger TV, or a bigger mirror. This place is pure luxury, even in the most affordable rooms. It's only about 30min from the ferry but feels very remote and peaceful. We would absolutely stay here again!

The Accomodation good, Meals and dining areas great , good breakfasts. The main younger male customer service person at the desk who helped us with a couple of issues, was good and helpful. I thanked him on our last night. We stayed 3 nights.
When we got to our room the TV channels didnt have many local channels working ..mainly Foxtel. From that day of arrival over to next day the customer service man managed to fix the problem. Also my side of the bed first night was so uncomfortable (dipping) after 3 hours of trying to sleep, I had to sleep with my head at the footend of the bed. I told your team member about it. As we were going out for the day i didnt expect the bed to be improved. But it was alot better for the next 2 nights. I could sleep..

Liked the room decor and fixtures and size
Didn’t like that even though we paid $496 per night and it was a standalone lodge that there were no cooking facilities. Just kitchenette and not even a microwave.
