this Hyatt property was the worse I’ve stayed at and I’ve been a loyal Memphis over 5 years
Pros:

this property needs a major renovation immediately, the phone didn’t work in the room and front desk was unavailable the gate was broken and they charge $25 a day for parking but fail to mention that the homeless people roam the garage asking for spear change and dumpster dive searching for food in the parking garage also the rooms are very dated and needs a major renovation.

Air conditioning was broke got moved to a room without the same amenities and the air was still broken. No full clean each day I stayed. I had to keep going to front desk for towels and sheets

Great value for money
Pros:

The room was spacious, comfortable and very clean. The swimming pool was in good condition and the hotel staff was very helpful. Breakfast was also a highlight!

I rarely leave negative reviews, but this stay at the Hyatt House in Houston was extremely disappointing. The room was in poor condition and clearly not maintained to the standards I expect from a Hyatt property.

The bathroom mirror was separating from the wall, the soap appeared used or damaged, and the furniture had visible tears and punctures. The bedspread had stains, the walls and window frames were chipped and poorly repaired, and the blackout shade didn’t even cover the window completely, letting sunlight in early in the morning.

To make matters worse, I found what appeared to be dead cockroaches on the carpet next to the bed. That alone raises serious concerns about cleanliness and pest control.

The TV casting system was also frustrating and difficult to use, adding to an already unpleasant experience.

Overall, the room felt old, neglected, and not properly cleaned or maintained. This is far below the standard I expect from Hyatt, and I would not stay at this property again or recommend it to others until significant improvements are made.
