Good location
Staff was meh, lots of homeless people bugging me for money outside of hotel
The location was perfect - far enough away from the busy downtown yet close enough to walk. The staff was pleasant and helpful. Having restaurants and a coffee shop were a bonus.
Better signage to the parking garage.
Clean.
The shuttle didn’t seem to be as convenient as people said that it was so that was disappointing since it was fairly far away from commercial Street. When I went to check into the hotel, they charged my credit card again for my stay even though I had already paid through Booking.com. The hotel said they would get it fixed, but it created a very stressful first arrival at the hotel on what was supposed to be a birthday celebration weekend?
The breakfast, which I paid for as part of my package, was very good. Better than expected. Variety. Very tasty. The location was also pretty good. The 15 floor bar was also very stylish. The room itself was comfortable.
My booking, which was done through a third party site, was made with 3 people, which said that breakfast was included. I did not find out until I made it to the hotel that there were only vouchers for two people. Why say that breakfast is included, if it's not available to all of the party when that is indicated at the booking time? That can put someone in an awkward situation where they basically have to tell someone they don't have an included breakfast. The WI-FI was also a little iffy at times. There were no bedding materials included for the other guest when it was clearly indicated that there were three people--unless there's the assumption that everyone is sleeping in one king bed or on an unmade, bare bed. The staff were timely in bringing up such materials when called, but this should not have had to happen. The other thing that was very odd was that I get kept getting charged multiple transactions of high dollar amounts after my initial payment, which triggered some discrepancies at my bank and could have caused some issues. This happened at least three times after I made the initial room payment and all of the responses they kept giving as to why this would happen did not make sense. I could understand what they were saying, but not how that could be applied to my situation and the initial room fees, even with parking, incidentals, and breakfast-too much of a price difference. How do you go from $1400 to another $1000 to another $800 to another $350? I was sorry to have to inconvenience the staff with this issue, as one of them said in a somewhat passive aggressive way that, "They've had to deal with it three times." That's unfortunate, but when I have to deal with it three times myself, you'd best believe that the hotel will, too. Who wouldn't? A mixed bag overall, but nice location, comfortable room, nice roof bar, and tasty breakfast.
The food was great and the roof top bar was awesome. The staff was polite helpful kind and courteous.
I had to pay extra to park my car.
I liked the tall mirror for getting ready. I like that it had a mini fridge. The A/C worked pretty well. The room got pretty dark.
My fitted sheet was so cheap and never stayed on the bed! I would wake up and it would be under me and I'd fix it every time but never stayed. Water took FOREVER to get hot. Multiple people said the same. Also had no room service on the first day, so no new towels. And nowadays there's usually a USB or C plug near the bed, but they only had a standard 3 prong outlet and I only had the cord. But fortunately we were able to use parts of a laptop charger to charge my phone otherwise that would have sucked. Last day I noticed they do have a USB and C port plug on the outside of the desk, not on top, so it was hard to notice. Just felt like a very cheap experience for the high price and I thought Westin's were better than that.
Great location
A little expensive given the room
Bed is very comfortable, bathroom is roomy
The person who checked me in was unpleasant.
Had to change plans so sent an inquiry through booking.com if it was possible to change dates and they never responded.
This property was a short 10 minute walk from the waterfront shops and restaurants. Valet parking is available and there is a self-parking garage down the street. Breakfast is available at the onsite restaurant. There is a rooftop bar - be sure to check it out for amazing views. Rooms were spacious and comfortable.
The view from the rooftop lounge was incredible
Breakfast was a wonderful bonus.
Parking, while a reduced rate and it extend into second, it always seems expensive be these days.
The staff were exceptionally friendly and helpful.
Restaurants and bar on the 15th floor were worth it.
