Everything except the wifi on our last night.
The lady at the front desk was not pleasant at all. We checked in around 5. I think her name was Dominique. She seemed very ghetto as well as the cook in the "restaurant". The lady at the front desk would ask how to spell then when helping her she would take offense and say "I know how to spell that". She seemed not to like the white people and made it known. I just wanted to get through any issues with no attitude. It was a struggle.
The next morning the staff was more pleasant and nice. Thank goodness.
The ghetto mentality. Its not how we live. We went to 5 hotels with black people at the front desk and it was pleasant and nice. Evening shift was terrible but morning shift was very nice

It was awful… no interaction with anyone except through a glass. The smell of marijuana was so bad in the non-smoking room. No coffee pot, few lights worked.
The staff was helpful in advance and at check in. It was a challenge to park. There is only one way in and out of the parking garage. Staff said drive either way, but once you pull into hotel entrance, it requires making a big block to get in the garage. Rooms were clean with good sized bathrooms. All was quite and pleasant.
I don’t usually write one star reviews, but this place was pretty bad. The whole building smelt old and mildewed, especially the rooms and the hallways. The first room we checked into had a TV that did not work so they moved us to a new room. That TV worked but the room smelt worse. My biggest peeve was it says hot breakfast on the website and description, but all they had was cereal and bagels. The staff said sometimes they have hot breakfast and sometimes they don’t.
There is also a really sketchy dude in the parking lot all night, mumbling to us trying to ask for money or something. We did not understand what he was saying, but he was there before we left for dinner and also there when we got back looking at car windows. Maintenance guy was nice and helpful.
My kids went swimming in the pool, but there were no clean towels down there. We tried calling the front desk from the hotel room to get more, but they did not answer.

The staff was superior! Starting with the front staff, custodial staff, and the kitchen staff, everyone was kind and making sure our stay met our expectations. The location was spot on for the landmarks we wanted to see. It was a fantastic experience.
