The location and that the fact the marina is on a quieter area thus not too crowded from the public apart from mostly guest of the hotel and some of the local neighbours.
The room that we were assigned to is right next to the walk path of people going into the pool, breakfast so on a busier period such as breakfast and dinner we can hear all sort of walking pace including heels. There is also a connecting side door that attached on the exterior of our room which people tend to slam shut or walk away and let it slam shut. Same goes with our next door traveller who tend to slam shut their door. We can also hear them opening and closing drawers and cupboard. In summary not much of a sound-proof or insulation.
Such a gorgeous place to stay! Very comfortable and clean, gorgeous scenery, so quiet, just beautiful for relaxing.

Beautifully clean room and very comfortable. Amazing position and view. Breakfast was exceptional. Staff were very friendly and accomodating.
We were on the ground floor and noise from other units was quite audible, especially doors closing shut.

The restaurant needs to be updated to be more inviting in the evening as it's still looks like the breakfast room!
The main bar closes far to early if you are wanting relaxed drinks after dinner!
Beautiful location and facilities
The room was a little tired however the bathroom was recently renovated and the bed was very comfortable.
We loved the hotel’s beautiful style, breakfast was great too
We came for a quiet weekend and were unexpectedly disappointed to find out that
1. The hotel hosts weddings, and we had to listen to someone’s loud music until after 10:30 pm on Saturday night. We believe guests should be notified about upcoming weddings before deciding to book a room.
2. The walls in the rooms are ridiculously thin. You can hear every laugh, cough, and conversation from guests in the rooms next to you and above.
3. I’m not sure how the plumbing system was designed, but whenever someone in the room next door or above takes a shower or flushes the toilet, it sounds as though they are doing it in your room. The shower in the room above us was especially noisy, it sounded like someone was using a saw! and woke us up around 6:15 am on Sunday morning when a guest upstairs decided to take a shower.
Unfortunately, the noise was the main reason for my low rating and really affected our stay. We came for a quiet weekend but found it very difficult to relax and get a good night sleep.

The room was beautiful and the food in the main restaurant was amazing!
Weirdly enough, there weren't enough mirrors in the apartment, none in the bedroom. When I was trying to do my hair, my husband was having a shower in the bathroom and there was only 1 mirror in the bathroom and the only other one was on the back of the door, but no powerpoint. And its really hard to curl hair in a steamy bathroom. Minor problem, but I thought this would be good feedback, its not a criticism.
Location is good. Surrendering environment is excellent. Our rooms were on the G/F and we enjoyed the easy access to the seaside.
