Nice room
Pricy and a long walk to room. This is a casino so you have to walk through casino to get to rooms.
the hotel just felt old and understaffed and the restaurant Mels definitely was for sure
I think Mel's is overpriced!!!
The 24 hour diner was excellent.
Kind of hard to get to check-in.
We were told no breakfast nice and quiet softer bed.
Everything was close by
Smoking in the casino
Like the room every much and the people at the front desk were very good.
Long walk to the room; but,the walk made for good exercise.
Great customer service
Very clean and functional room
Good restaurants & bars
Nice swimming pool
Great people
The bed could have been more comfortable & the air conditioning was a little loud.
Got here 2;30 Sat morning. Tried to check in on Saturday since that was the day it was. I was told it had to check in on Friday do i lost fay of my stay. I was given room 1223 in the north tower. I walked thru the casino, got to the elevator saw there were only 6 floors
Walked back thru the casino with my suitcase & backpack. Found out that 1200 rooms were on the 1st floor. Unlocked my room, began to unpack. Found debris on bathroom floor, hair in the shower & gravy on floor of frig. & near empty Kleenex box Tried to call housekeeping & front desk. Phone didn't work. Went to front desk. No response. Saw housekeeper in hall. Got kleenex. She couldn't clean frig. Said she'd talk to her supervisor. No response. Back to front desk & room fixed
Everything in one place - room, dining, slots and gift shop. Parking close to elevator.
Spent a few hundred dollars on slots - not once in 3x sitting at a machine was offered a comp drink. Saw a couple of cocktail staff on the floor, but basically was ignored when sitting at the slots for longer than 5-10 minutes. This is not the normal or expected experience while visiting Reno gambling facilities. Is the trend NOT to offer any booze unless you are at a card or crap table? Or a High Roller? Also - extra long distance to assigned room - this was on us I guess. Husband is disabled and should have requested a room near the elevators. Bathrooms were also very tiny, hard to manuever around the door and the toilet. Room was dark and window opened to the pool area - causing a lack of privacy during stay.
The awesome staff!
Nothing
The casino
The door to get into the room was cracked toward the bottom, which made it easier to hear the noisy hallway outside of our room. The room was dingy and had an odor of previous dogs who had stayed there. The smell made my dogs uncomfortable and took a long time for them to settle down. Also, the parking lot was too far away from the rooms. My husband had to make 3 trips to and from our car to bring in our things. They did not have any carts available for him to use. It was just an unpleasant experience for us.
