The location is what saves this hotel. The view from the lobby is stunning.
The bath had numerous hairs in it. The conditioner was empty. There were hairs and stains on the sheets. The bins had no liners and were dirty. There was a layer of dust on the side tables and desk. The room was in dire need of a clean. Don't worry so much about renovating the lobby. Concentrate on updating and cleaning the rooms. Room service staff were more concerned about chatting and checking their phones. At 4pm on the second day we got a knock on the door asking us if we wanted our rooms redone??? What was the point? Pretty unsatisfactory overall.
booking was easy through booking.com, location was good easy to get around the sights and shops, lovely view of the valley
Disgusting service, and cleanliness, parking was additional $20 per day for guests, overpriced breakfast at $45 per person for very average buffet, gift ship and some bars and restaurants were closed, no lounge area in reception with no furniture due to floor polishing with a dreadful smell, room service do not pick up calls were hung up on numerous times, room service did not make up the room only left 2 towels on the unmade bed and dirty cups and glasses where they sat, no minibar was provided and the shop selling snacks and drinks was closed - we left after one night very disappointing
Dirtiest rooms I have stayed in. Mould throughout shower and bathroom, floor covered in thick dust, non existent house keeping
Lovely views. Nice resort.
Everything
Just the ac wasnt heating up .didnot go above 26 but we were provided protable heater.
Beautiful views but a little hard to access without a car .
The lobby was overwhelmed with a perfume smell . Interesting that in the NSW part of Australia this seems to be the case everywhere . It’s quite headache producing !
Good location
Hotel is dated and run down
Not clean
Under staffed and poor quality of service in most areas
Considering the cost of the hotel it is disappointing that every single activity costs - even $1 or $2 each time children want to go down the slide or on a 3 minute train ride.
Too crowded, queue to do anything
Basic and poor quality buffet
Breakfast was average and cold. Toaster didn’t work
Dining room was freezing and when we asked staff to put another log in the fire they said no! So we cancelled our desert and left the restaurant.
Great facilities for kids, wonderful staff and heated indoor pool! Buffet breakfast was great too!
Views and pools
Room needs facelift. Old shower nozzle mini bar poor internet and wifi which was intermittent
Facilities were great for families. Loved the slide and the train and proximity to other local attractions.
Limited food offerings for families with little kids wanting them fed at 5pm, so we decided to eat offsite most nights.
Great location for the activities we wanted to do at Blue mountains. Good amenities and friendly staff, good food.
Easy to check in - clear
Signage - welcoming staff
Parking was only in bottom car park so quite a walk and no luggage carriage
Have previously stayed here and it was great. But anymore! Seriously run down and needs updating, restaurants can’t even get service and over packed but they don’t take bookings, overpriced and not what it used to be
Room was filthy!! Stained carpets, dirty bathrooms and bedside tables. Broken towel rack hanging off the wall, was disgraceful for how much you pay a night.
The property is huge and has everything you could possibly need in a resort - especially for kids. Gym was probably the best I have been to at a hotel in terms of equipment.
It was a bit aged. Buffet breakfast was expensive for the quality. A bit frustrating that they closed the outdoor slides when there is a forecast of rain later in the day even if weather was ok in the morning. Also, the outdoor train rides get booked out early, so we missed out (even though it was one of the reasons we chose to stay).
The spa water was very dirty. No pool or gym towel service.
