The location was good, not perfect
Stayed here for a week during a work trip to Denver, and while the location is excellent for downtown access, the overall experience was disappointing for the price point. Check-in was smooth, and I appreciated that the hotel offers a happy hour and nightcap, though unfortunately I couldn’t take advantage of them because of my work schedule.
The biggest issue was the WiFi (1mbps). Since I was splitting time between working from the office and remotely from the hotel, reliable internet was essential. The connection was extremely slow throughout my stay, to the point where even basic browsing struggled. The hotel even has a dedicated internet support button on the room phone, but support was limited to resetting the router, which never solved the problem. I eventually had to work from nearby cafés instead, which was frustrating for a business stay.
The room itself also felt dated. The headboard looked worn out and gave off more of a budget motel vibe than a hotel in this price range. Housekeeping was inconsistent as well. Service only happened after reminders to the front desk, and even then it lasted just a few minutes. Towels and glasses were sometimes not replaced.
One positive was the onsite restaurant. The food was good, although the menu could use more variety. Like everything else at the hotel, it was also fairly expensive.
Overall, I regret booking this hotel for a 7-night stay. For the price, there are likely much better options in downtown Denver.

Hotel is not perfect location explore downtown Denver. Like many people have mentioned, the rooms are spacious and comfortable.
They especially have excellent staff members. We use their bikes and had a flat on our ride. Jessica, the receptionist, was quick to help us out and had Allen, their maintenance/mechanic, pick us up in his personal vehicle to help us during a time of need.
Super friendly, i’m very apologetic about the whole situation.

I have been a regular guest at the Monaco for over 15 years. It has always excelled, but when I was there a year ago, I noticed a dip in the level of service, especially to platinum and Diamond level members. So although i was reluctant to book again I thought I’d give it another shot. Glad that I did. The front desk was top-notch. They made sure I was in a room that was suited to me. I couldn’t have been happier. The upgraded rooms were definite plus. Very clean, comfortable and quiet. It was a very pleasant day with no issues whatsoever and I will definitely book there the next time i am in Denver. Thank you for hiring great Customer Service at the front desk. It makes all the difference in the world.
The staff were all very friendly and attentive. The atmosphere was wonderful and very cozy. The rooms were very nice and comfortable. The Panzano restaurant onsite was absolutely amazing as well.
Comfortable, quiet, walk in shower. Only wish they had a shuttle to Union Station. Valet was very helpful getting elderly into Lyft vehicle.

Denver location offers the most vibrant energy. The staff is SO friendly and helpful. The restoration of this age building leaves you comfortable and imaginative-

From the moment I arrived, I knew this stay was going to be something special. The staff went above and beyond in every way—starting with a surprise upgrade to a beautiful suite. The room was spacious, stylish, and incredibly comfortable, with all the thoughtful touches that make Kimpton properties feel like home.
What truly impressed me, though, was the personalized hospitality. Shortly after settling in, the team delivered a handwritten note along with a bag of goodies—an unexpected and genuinely touching gesture that made me feel sincerely welcomed and appreciated.
Every interaction with the staff was warm and effortless, and the overall atmosphere of the hotel is both chic and inviting. Between the exceptional service, the stunning suite, and the little moments of personalized care, this was easily one of my best hotel experiences in Denver.
I can’t recommend this property highly enough. I’ll absolutely be back!
