Sign and lights guys blocking sidewalk all morning and was nowhere to be found! Had to detour around the cones and equipment!
Fire at Hotel, I was on 6th floor and never heard any alarms! I had a coworker on the 5th floor and he didn’t hear anything either!
Door guys were on it, did a great job! Housekeeping did a great job! Wallpaper coming off the walls in the bathroom! I LOVED the bigger towels!
Engaged and attentive staff, beautifully appointed rooms and a wonderful on-site restaurant - all within steps of the 16th Street entertainment corridor.
Denver treated me very well. I also want to mention that this hotel is very close to the Denver shopping District.I enjoyed my solo trip very well. All the accommodations were excellent. I especially enjoyed the red rocks amphitheater bus to pick us up and take you there and drop you off at the hotel. It was very convenient.
Excellent stay! Just hosted a three day business meeting with lunch and afternoon catering. Everything was perfect!
My guest room was updated, and very clean. It was also quiet! Great staff, great location.
The Kimpton Monaco! What a great stay. The rooms are beautiful and clean. The staff always helpful and kind with a smile. Coffee service in the mornings with really good coffee. All around an amazing stay.
The room was clean, and the staff were friendly, efficient, and welcoming. The male staff member who checked us in last night was especially helpful. He made the check-in process smooth and took the time to answer our questions about the hotel benefits.
We also really appreciated another staff member who kindly heated up our food before we left to catch our train so we could eat on the way. That thoughtful gesture made our morning much easier and showed excellent customer service.
The only suggestion I have is that it would be nice if the rooms were remodeled or updated to give them a more modern feel.
The hotel staff was friendly and helpful.
We loved the valet staff. They worked tirelessly to make sure everyone that walked into the hotel was taken care of.
A clean room. Odd hours for hotel bar and restaurant (didn’t bother to open for World Cup.
Would come again, but wouldn’t go out of my way.
Hotel Monaco was chosen for us for a package, but I would certainly stay here again. Our room was quite large and in great condition. We loved the location near the 26th Street mall.
Excellent location and friendly Staff! The amenities and room were great.
Great room size with comfortable couch. Excellent access to walk to great restaurants & Coors Field.
Power next to bed was spotty making cpap use difficult. Elevators were out of order - a minor inconvenience since we could use the service elevator.
The staff and facilities were comfortable and welcoming! I loved how they asked how things were during time there. Their happy hour was a great treat. Anything we needed was taken care of!
Gracious hospitality, centrally located, clean and elegant rooms - I strongly recommend this hotel for any and all of your Downtown Denver stays.
Came home late from a concert then got stuck in their elevator for about 20-30 min. They were quick to help get us out, not sure how, but the security guy helped & we hurried out before it closed again. The next step would have been the fire dept but luckily he managed to get the doors open. We were told free breakfast as a consolation but we overslept & missed the opportunity. It’s the thought that counts I guess! Otherwise we really loved this hotel stay.
We stayed here for one night a couple of weeks ago. It is an older hotel with nice decor. The room was comfortable but dated (carpeted floors, old bath tile). It would have been adequate except for the hidden costs I was not aware of when booking.
If you have a car, there is no parking available at the hotel so Valet is your only option. We were there for literally 26 hours. The car cost us $63! In addition, we were charged $30 per night for a Guest Amenity Fee. We have no idea what that was for.
During our stay I received a text from the front desk asking if we were comfortable or needed anything. I did have a couple of questions pertaining to check-out time, dinner in the area, etc and my multiple messages were unanswered. For what it’s worth, i found the front desk staff to be aloof as well.
My reviews are based on: -
Welcome
Cleanliness
Comfort and sleep
So let's get to it. To Hannah, Cody, Nate and Zoltan a huge thank you! Our genuine welcome has been so appreciated and the help you have given us during our way to our short stay in Denver has made our visit memorable. Thank you each and every one of you! Your help has been invaluable and your welcome appreciated more than words can convey.
This was a special stop as it marked the end of our 2nd USA road trip from the UK. We will remember this NOT for the end of a trip but the possible start of our next travel adventure in the USA. It is said that the journey is not about the destination but on a road trip there has to be a destination and we are so very happy for this stop point we stayed here.
So thats the welcome covered.
Cleanliness - 100% on point. The room could do with a lick of paint and the wallpaper certainly needs looking at.
Comfort and sleep. We are both super early risers so can you imagine waking up at 09:30? A small bed compared to our home but we slept like babies.I cannot count how many times we have slept in that late in 15 years!!!
The water offering was a god send because we visited through a high heat period. The evening wine was a great thought and thank you.
To IHG - whoever is running this hotel has the right staff, the right outlook and offers a great place to sleep at night. We will be back and thats a promise.
All in all a perfect stay just less than perfect because we had to leave.
We had a late arrival coming from a far distance, only needed one night to recharge and continue our journey. The check-in process was awful, as machines to run the card were down. I was sent a form to fill out for incidentals to my email. Parking is awful and confusing. The lot next to the hotel is shared with the Marriott and even though signage indicated parking for both hotels, and parking space was available for 15 min to check in according to the posted signs, the parking attendant for the Marriott was aggressive, rude, intimidating, confrontational, impatient, and wouldn’t allow parking for 10min to check in. Nothing special about the “premium” room at an additional cost, no amenities, no ice machine and a view right into the parking garage. Walking from the parking garage to the hotel entrance felt unsafe. Since the parking lot was not connected to the hotel, we had to exit the lot and walk the street level past many homeless individuals engaged in open drug use around the property. We also would have expected more from such a pet friendly property. While we appreciated no pet fee for our dog, there were no safe areas to take her to relieve herself. It was an extremely stressful experience when all we needed was a comfortable night’s stay. As a tourist in the area for the first time, I wouldn’t consider either property for a stay after this experience. The parking attendant at the Marriott is better suited as a bouncer for a dive bar, rather than any position related to hospitality in anyway.
Excellent stay. I would stay here again.
We spent 9 nights and the service was great! Hannah at the front desk is awesome. The brussel sprouts in Panzana are phenomenal.
This is a nice personable hotel. Everyone was very helpful and gracious. They communicate well, I had a lamp problem in my room/ I informed via text and it was fixed before I returned. It’s a bit dark in the entire hotel, and room lighting does not get very bright if you are trying to locate things in your suitcase. I used phone flashlight a lot. Also no beverage service in the room - I could not make coffee or tea - complementary coffee only offered in short AM window. The fridge in my room was not on or not working / warm inside. Minor things, but they are what makes it not a 5 star. Beds very comfy, housekeeping very good
