Would definitely recommend as an option for a treat to others
Pros:

Food was of exceptional quality and was actually fairly good value for money, the location was fairly central and the room was outstanding, exceptionally comfortable bed and facilities in the room, including the coffee machine, safe and ironing facilities.

I would also like to offer a shout out to Sophie Newbould, who helped me so much when I had to change the dates of my visit due to a lengthy hospital admission.

Cons:

I would have preferred to have been able to keep to my original room allocation of queen deluxe double, instead of having to upgrade to the king deluxe double, which added over £1000 to the cost of the 2 rooms for the nights we stayed.

Lovely stay
Pros:

The staff were excellent at the Hotel very friendly and helpful and it was a Birthday weekend so they put the items my daughter had brought ie cake etc with her in the room before we went in , nice touch !

Cons:

The wasn’t anything I didn’t like about this beautiful hotel , it was like stepping back in time very elegant , the only thing I would say realising that it is central Edinburgh it was the price for 2 days .

Amazing hotel, lovely staff, incredible views
Pros:

From the moment we entered the hotel, we could feel the warmth of the staff through their genuine smiles and thoughtful hospitality. Their kindness and attentiveness truly transformed our stay into something far beyond what we had imagined. The location is impeccable and our room had the most stunning view on Edinburgh Castle.

Une institution qui nous a fait rêver lorsque nous nous sommes rencontrés avec mon épouse à Edinburgh il y a 37 ans.
Nous nous étions promis d’y dormir un jour.
C’est chose faite.
Un établissement à la hauteur de son histoire.
Avec un personnel d’une rare gentillesse, et des prestations sans égales, dont un petit déjeuner parfait.
Vraiment MERCI à toute l’équipe de l’hôtel qui a su nous faire vivre le moment d’exception que nous avons attendu si longtemps.
