The services like room dining/ laundry are way too expensive. 2 shirts and 2 pants costs around 98£ to clean. This is absurd

Comfortable stay, breakfast could be improved
Pros:

The hotel was excellently located for the centre of Edinburgh. Historic building, spa facilities with gym and pool. Lovely Caley bar which played vinyl music.

Bedroom, although on the small side, very comfortable.

Cons:

The breakfast service was slow, had to chase staff to refill the water on two consecutive mornings, to request coffee and bread. We did stay during a very busy period and this improved on our third morning.

Considering this is a high end hotel, bottled water in the room was only provided on the first night. Mini bar in the room was not stocked. This was the third time we have stayed at this hotel, in the past valet parking was offered and is no longer offered. I feel standards have slipped since becoming a Hilton hotel.
