I've stayed at The Peninsular on previous occasions & it never disappoints. I arrived earlier than expected, but the room was ready, on my desired floor overlooking Bonifacio Global City. Various members of staff recognised me from previous visits & I was always made to feel very welcome indeed. Jeff, Tim & Lloyd looked after me at the Pool Bar. Janna mixes the best Bloody Mary, in The Bar & Billy & Faith took care of me when it was time to check out. These are just a few of the names that I could mention, but believe me every single member of staff was polite & gave exemplary service.
The hotel is perfectly situated in the Makati business district, which is safe with Greenbelt & Glorietta shopping malls a short walk away & within easy reach of the airport. If you opt for breakfast included in the room rate, be rest assured that a fantastic choice of food will be on offer & please respect the dress code.
The air-conditioning in The Bar is far too chilly!
The amenities of the hotel / room gave it a resort like feel. The staff were always attentive. The breakfast buffet was also a highlight, showcasing traditional Filipino delicacies along with the breakfast staples. It was conveniently located next to one of Manila’s major shopping centers. You really don’t need to leave the property to enjoy your stay in Makati. Also it didn’t feel far from the international airport.

I enjoyed pretty much everything about Manila Peninsula. Food, Room and Service. This luxurious hotel in the heart of Manila. If you go look for MARIAN SANCHEZ. She’s the best!

Elegance , is the first word that comes to mind as you enter the hotel. It’s chaos but the guest doesn’t seem shielded from it. Most of the staff are amazing. Specially the nurse on duty while I was there was excellent.

A very happy and memorable mother’s day experience ! It was a complete package! From check -in to check-out! The Duty Manager Ms Mariane Sanchez made sure that our stay was flawless. When we enter the room. A welcome mother’s day greetings was set on the table. We enjoyed the hospitality in the M Gallery lounge .Food and ambiance with a good service were awesome! The cake decorating session was definitely an event to remember. Thanks to all the team who arranged the event, they were all so accommodating.

This was a really great weekend stay. The hospitality was so warm and pleasant, they had so many surprises and gifts that made my mom really happy, and the staff made sure everything ran smoothly. Shoutout to Ma’am Marian Sanchez for being so accommodating to our needs. The breakfast spread was impressive, the room was beautiful and spacious, and the ambiance is truly one of a kind. Thank you for a wonderful weekend getaway to remember, Peninsula! :)

I like the gym, the sauna and steam bath with the facilities such as the swimsuit dryer which was handy and the hair dryer was also good. The room is spacious and the tub is huge! The customer service is remarkable! It’s something that made our experience memorable.
I didn’t like that there was a lot of confusion with the inclusion of what I’ve paid for. I booked a room with breakfast inclusion and I clarified it twice that the breakfast is included with what I paid for and they said yes.
The second morning they asked me to sign again for the breakfast and I went to front desk to ask why they keep asking me to sign and I was advised that it was just to inform that we already had our breakfast that day. I said okay then upon checkout, I was told I need to pay for my other child as the room I booked only covers two people! I said how come it was not communicated. And the response was just a shrug of shoulders. I said I even confirmed it twice only to found out I’m gong to pay extra when I’m already checking out. It was totally disappointing. I appreciated the customer service as whenever we have a request we were easily accommodated but that extra charge was definitely not communicated properly.
Also my son was at the pool while I was at the gym.
By the time I finished I asked him why he’s not swimming and he told me that one of the guys wearing white polo asked him to step out of the the pool because he’s wearing a cotton shirt! When it’s spandex! He didn’t even touch the shirt! He just presumed it was cotton! I need to talk to one of the lifeguards and asked why did he do that? Did he even touch the shirt? And the guy apologized but my son won’t get back to the pool because he felt embarrassed.
Please don’t do that to any other kids it’s not good for self esteem.
