Old World Charm at it's Best!
Pros:

Would definitely recommend and come back!
Pros:

The aesthetics for a 50 yr old hotel is amazing and classy. Definitely old and still modern.

Cons:

Change out the carpets in rooms and hallways.
Breakfast was a good selection. The restaurant serving breakfast needs to fix the wooden floors. Myself and many almost tripped walking to their table.

A very enjoyable stay and we were impressed with the hotel. Would definitely stay there again.
Pros:

The property was beautiful, grand and very classy. The service in all areas was outstanding. Cocktails in the bar and food in the Spices restaurant was fantastic! We also spent some time poolside which was very enjoyable. Room was great too and bed very comfortable.

Cons:

Transfer from airport via hotel service was expensive relative to the room price. So we arranged it on our own, but that turned out less than ideal, and it took us over an hour. We would have preferred to use the hotel service for a more reasonable price.

The Peninsula Manila is the best hotel in the Philippines!
Pros:

When you first walk into The Peninsula Manila, you are met with an atrium that rivals the best properties in the world. The staff treats you warmly during every step of your stay.

At check-in, Maya greeted me with a smile and escorted my family to our room - a corner suite on the 10th floor. The room was clean, the furniture and decor were clean and cared for, and the view was spectacular.

This morning at breakfast on the 3rd floor lounge, Maya greeted us with a beautiful smile and ensured that we had everything we needed. She made recommendations and created a delicious moco latte to start our day. Her professionalism, personality, and knowledge made this feel more than simply breakfast and felt as if she had proudly welcomed you into her home. If you see her, greet her with a smile and you will have be treated like family.

Everyone, from the amazing and talented mixologists at the bar to each member’s welcome as you return to the hotel, the Peninsula Manila is the hotel you will want to visit and will soon become your new home in the Philippines.

Beautiful interiors, luxury stay great for adults & exceptional staff
Pros:

The decor and interiors are amazing! Atmosphere was great , staff were exceptional and go above and beyond. Friendly and professional atmosphere. Will be back again. Other than that local restaurants are great. Great for a business hotel or adult only stay.

Cons:

Not super kid friendly. Location makes it tricky to walk to malls with a pram. You will have to take a detour to get to mall because crossing the road in certain places is prohibited due to busy road.

A heavenly break from reality.
Pros:

The fresh floral decorations throughout the hotel are superb and they really contribute to the feelings of peace and serenity within the public spaces.
The staff always get a mention for the wonderful attention that they give all guests and this is deservedly so.

Cons:

Spices Restaurant did not meet my expectations. The lighting in the main section has been dimmed to a degree where it is difficult to view the menu or the food.
The noodles section of the menu gave poor results. The Char Kway Teow and the Mee Goreng were wet and seemed to have been cooked in the same sauce. The noodles used were not appropriate for the dishes they represented and did not come close to being authentic. I write this as someone who has often dined at this restaurant.
