Great location and Great club lounge and staff

I have been a credit card carrying member of Bonvoy for over ten years. I stay at this hotel at least two to three times a month. I get no points. I get no credits for stays. I get no breakfast. The bar/ restaurant charges $20 for a salad! You can guess what they charge for everything else. I would never book this hotel!!!

The attendant in the Concierge Lounge was extremely attentive and efficient…high energy!

I visited RG Rooted Grounds for coffee and was warmly greeted by Earvin and Desi. They truly made my day! My coffee was delicious, and both Earvin and Desi were so helpful and welcoming. Their customer service was outstanding, which is hard to find these days. Thank you both for such a great experience!

We stayed at the Marriott Anchorage Downtown at the start of our trek to Denali National Park and cruise. From arrival with valet parking to front desk check in to the concierge lounge, our guest experience was very satisfying. Special shoutout to Renz in the lounge. He is very helpful and attentive and even made a restaurant recommendation to one of the best fresh Alaskan seafood establishments in town.

One major disappointment at this property is the sub-par fitness room, which is outfitted like other lower tier brands such as Courtyard or Fairfield Inn. Cardio equipment is minimal and, as a Peloton loyalists, I know that Peloton bikes are now in basic or moderate hotels of others so it’s time for Marriott generally and this property specifically to upgrade and provide more for guests looking to stay fit while traveling.

Love the location of the hotel. Hotel is very nice & love the rooms. Love the staff of the hotel esp Aileen from the front desk who is very accommodating, helpful, professional and witty. Greeted us with a lovely smile, checked us in smoothly and made sure we have all what we needed like towels, amenities & wifi. Told us where to go best & places to visit. We became more comfortable in our stay. Will Highly recommend this place to our family and friends!!
