Location and facilities quite good. Near a few tube stations. The breakfast spread is also solid
With the exception of a particular young lady at the front desk who was awesome and regularly went above and beyond, most of the staff just about tick the box of service. No complaints but nothing special either
Also the housekeeping could do a better job overall. Service was a bit slow and inconsistent
We got Prosecco on arrival and the staff were lovely! Also really welcoming hotel

They could renew the free water containers more often, because they were so good with the cucumbers and stuff.

Location was perfect. Bakerloo tube line and the bus options were perfect to connect to the most important sight seeing places in London. very accessible across London. People were courteous and staff was good in responding to calls.
Breakfast was extra and it is expensive for the choices
Room was very small. hardly had place to put in 4 suitcases and 2 chairs. We had to move one of the chairs to the door every day to create a space. When we visited London experienced record heat going all the way up to 35 degrees celsius. The AC in the room was not adequate in spite of setting the thermostat to 18 degrees celsius. The room was not cooling down.
Hotel ist wohl schon etwas in die Jahre gekommen. Flure und co sind nicht besonders modern. Zimmer sind soweit ok. Allerding kein Schrank, um seine Sachen aus dem Koffer auszuräumen, nur minimal möglich. Personal ist nett und freundlich. Allerding hatte ich ein Erlebnis was aus meiner Sicht für ein solches Hotel unwürdig ist.
Wir hatten einen Abend, da die Bar geschlossen hatte (werden musste) eine Flasche Wein mit aufs Zimmer genommen. Am nächsten Tag hat der Roomservice die gebrauchten Gläser nicht entsorgt. Soweit nicht schlimm. Am nächsten Tag waren die Gläser immer noch da, plus einem Kaffeebecher vom Morgen. Benutzte WasserGläser.
Ich bat bevor wir das Haus verliessen freundlich an der Rezeption darum, das zu bereinigen, Klopapier aufzufüllen und den Kaffee aufzufüllen. Die Rezeption hat sich vielmals entschuldigt und versichert diesen Umstand sofort zu beseitigen. Nachts um 24:00 Uhr sind wir dann wiedergekommen. NICHTS war erledigt worden!!
Da bin ich dann ziemlich deutlich beim Nachtportier geworden... der natürlich sauer war, und auch 2 Minuten später den Umstand zumindest teilweise behoben hat. Was mich grundsätzlich enttäuscht hat. Ich war insgesamt 4-5 Tage da, es ist ja durchaus ein gutes Hotel mit einem gewissen Anspruch , auch an uns was seinen Preis angeht. Dann werden Dinge nicht erledigt, die völlig normal sein sollten, ich weise darauf hin, nett und freundlich und dann wird es immer noch nicht gemacht. Da hab ich mich, freundlich ausgedrückt, veräppelt gefühlt.
