It served our purposes for a short stay.
Pros:

The hotel was near everything we needed. However the rooms (we had 2) and furnishings were a bit tired. The rooms were very clean. The staff we interacted with were very helpful and friendly.

Cons:

Everything was adequate for our purpose.

Pros:

Good central location

Cons:

Despite requesting a daily clean which was offered the room was not serviced during our visit.
Only one of 2 lifts working and the service lift was out of order meaning hotel staff had to also use the one lift. Breakfast a little basic.

Pros:

My son enjoyed the jacuzzi bath!

Cons:

We checked in at 3pm but was told that the third bed in the room had not been made up which was for our son. We were asked to inform reception when we were leaving for the afternoon so that housekeeping could make the bed up.
Reception were informed at 3:30pm & we were told that the bed would be made up straight away. We returned to the hotel at 11:15am from a concert at Anfield to find that the bed had not been made up.
Two visits to reception later to complain and the bed was finally made up at just past midnight.
Very disappointing service.

Location was fab Central to city. Staff were very polite

Cons:

Air con was not working it was so warm couls get a decent sleep windows didn't close so noise from the bus station was too loud and disturbed sleep shower room flooded
Most concerned was fruit flies all over the fruit when at breakfast. Put me off from eating.

It was extremely high temperature outside and we could have done with the aircon going lower the 18.5°c.

Great location, comfortable, good sized rooms overall good stay.

Comfortable beds. Clean. Good sized room.

Cons:

Felt like it’s a little dated and needs a bit of modernisation. Loved the ‘shop’ in the lobby however prices were absolutely ridiculous, yes expect them to be a mark up but some of the drinks (bottle wine) was extortionate.
The bar shut at 11 so unable to get a drink there after concert which was little frustrating as we were hotel guests.
