Nice sized room.
The staff made me feel valued. The decor was a scavenger hunt of delight. From the fish pond in the lobby to the lollypops on the reception desk, every trip through the hotel was surprise after surprise. -- Something I didn't know I needed at this stage of my life. Shoot, just finding my room was a bit of an adventure, which was cheered on by bizarre photos in the hallway. The urge to be glamorous while exploring was contagious. The restaurant's food was excellent. I felt comfortable dining alone...the greenery made cozy nooks.

The room was cool in the Houston heat. Usually we have a hard time getting a room comfortable cool in TX

Love the area - with the fountains, Rice and Herman park nearby there is no other property that can touch the ambiance.
The staff at check in and check out seemed perfunctory but not welcoming. The pool bar attendant did not go out of his way to serve those around the pool.
The concierge, valet and staff were so welcoming and polite. The room was amazing. They accommodated the birthday celebration woth champagne and roses setup in the room. 10/10. Food was delicious.

I booked a night at Hotel Zaza for a staycation. I wanted to enjoy the pool, and a day without kids.
Kiki and her poolside crew made the day so enjoyable, and I can't wait to book my next stay.
When she found out I was celebrating my birthday, she went above and beyond to make sure it was a celebration.

Great experience at the hotel. Monarch restaurant is really quite good. We had a delicious breakfast and the food was both very tasty and innovative.
Hey, I just want to recommend staying at the Zaza Hotel in the museum district and to especially give a shout out to Kiki who needs to be promoted into the highest level of management as soon as possible. Her hands down personal leadership skills are evident from the moment you meet her from saving the day on a bad check-in to making sure you're well taken care of. In addition, and I'm pretty savvy at this, her managerial skills are evident from the way she leads an entire team.
