Staycation
Pros:

I booked a night at Hotel Zaza for a staycation. I wanted to enjoy the pool, and a day without kids.
Kiki and her poolside crew made the day so enjoyable, and I can't wait to book my next stay.
When she found out I was celebrating my birthday, she went above and beyond to make sure it was a celebration.

Zaza Hotel and Kiki
Pros:

Hey, I just want to recommend staying at the Zaza Hotel in the museum district and to especially give a shout out to Kiki who needs to be promoted into the highest level of management as soon as possible. Her hands down personal leadership skills are evident from the moment you meet her from saving the day on a bad check-in to making sure you're well taken care of. In addition, and I'm pretty savvy at this, her managerial skills are evident from the way she leads an entire team.

Beautiful art, bad experience.
Pros:

Great Art and vibe close to where I needed to be down town!

Cons:

The staff were rude. Valet was awful arguing with each other and rude to my husband and I both. The front desk never stopped their personal conversation to assist me or even acknowledge I was there even though there were 3 people available and I was the only customer in the lobby. I eventually called my husband to come down to get me and help with my luggage. Not anywhere near the experience I have had at other hotels in this price range.

Enjoyable stay and would return
Pros:

The hotel was in a perfect location for exploring the Museum District. The facilities were quirky and fun. The staff was friendly and helpful. Our only shock was that parking at the hotel was valet only at $60 a night.

Amazing art hotel with amazing staff
Pros:

Wow, third time at Hotel Zaza Museum District Houston and I wish I didn’t have to leave. The hotel is an art experience that is the perfect accompaniment to our family art trip to the nearby museums.
We once again had amazing service at every turn! I can’t say enough to fully compliment Alex and Austin C. - so nice, professional, friendly and helpful.
Julia in the restaurant is simply a treasure, a delight, and a fine human being! She always greeted us with a smile and a welcoming attitude, keeping everything fun and easy. Can we adopt her, please?
Judith is a top notch manager and we enjoyed her hospitality and fun spirit each time we saw her. She helped make our stay perfect and memorable.
We will be back!

Great overnight wedding stay
Pros:

Stayed overnight for a beautiful wedding and reception and had an absolute blast! The room was comfortable and no lean, staff were friendly and helpful, and they even gave us a little extra time on check out since there was a farewell brunch so we weren’t rushing breakfast to pack up and leave. Great stay, thanks for everything!

Nice hotel, ok location but fees for using a credit card??
Pros:

Cool hotel with a great pool and fun funky art. The location is ok—close to Rice University and museums but not much else within walking distance. The hotel offers a free shuttle to take you anywhere within a 3 mile radius (first come, first served) which was helpful. The rooms were nice, comfortable and clean. The one thing that I am having a hard time getting over is that the hotel adds a 2.5% fee if you pay for anything with a credit card. This is on top of the $30 amenity fee, state tax, city tax, county tax and state recovery fee. I understand there is nothing that can be done about the taxes but making the guests pay the credit card processing fee on every transaction and your room seems cheap.
