Staff were courteous and friendly but the room was very disappointing for the price.
Pros:

The hotel grounds were pleasant with attractive brick buildings, greenery, water features and a spa.

Cons:

The interior of the room was very disappointing, small, with ugly old furniture and a very tired, dated bathroom.

The grounds of the property were lovely, great location

Cons:

Bed was absolutely atrocious!
Rooms were freezing cold - being Ballarat and winter I would have expected electric blankets - even basic motels that I've stayed in have electric blankets.
On multiple occasions I had tried to call reception but no one answers.
When we arrived there were functions on, so no carparking available to check in, I had to circle multiple times until someone had moved out of the tiny 2minute bay.
The rooms are very old & definitely not worth the money that we paid for 2 nights.

A good stay but expensive rates for a long weekend.
Pros:

The property is centrally located to Ballarat and the two bedroom is a good size for families b

Cons:

Some parts of the apartment are clearly showing their age - timber window trim rotting, which in a Ballarat winter lets plenty of cold air in, and cupboards not hanging on hinges evenly.

Beautiful location. Cabins were super cute, comfy beds, couldn’t fault it
Pros:

Location, the hotel is beautiful

Cons:

A few more amenities would be handy. The fridge was extremely small, a kettle was provided but no toaster or microwave which made it hard when leaving before breakfast opens.

Cons:

Needs updating, tired room, cold, basic facilities for a Mercure hotel. Parking was super strange and tight, and staff on check-in not welcoming.

I have admired this place for 3 years, we come up for the ballarat tournament each year!
Pros:

Nothing,pathetic customer service, rooms not clean. Hotel manager even told us our TV for the room was stolen! So they put up a bird picture to hide it! 😔

Cons:

Look at the images I, have sent! I want someone from customer service to call me! I will not accept what you have processed. Seriously 10%!

Well the room was way overpriced breakfast was way overpriced the room was clean bed was comfortable
Pros:

All in one spot very picturesque easy accessible

Cons:

Breakfast was over priced at $30 a head.
There was not a great deal on offer for breakfast and it was very limited quantity.
The exhaust fan in the bathroom runs continuously and doesn’t seem to work

Cons:

Was charged twice even though room was repaid! Clicking noise all night kept us awake, service in the bar was terrible had to buy water as none given complimentary although price of room should cover 2 waters?? Won't be back!
