Perfect little weekend away.
Pros:

Fabulous location, easy parking, lovely and friendly staff. Very comfortable bed and a great shower in the bathroom! :)

Pros:

We had a great stay at this hotel. Although we didn’t have breakfast, our dinner was excellent — the kitchen catered especially well for food intolerances and allergies, which made dining completely stress‑free. The staff were brilliant: friendly, accommodating, and genuinely helpful throughout our stay.

Our room had a small fridge and a tiny freezer, which was incredibly handy. The hotel also offers loads of facilities we didn’t get the chance to use, but it’s great to have so much available on‑site. The location is ideal too — you can walk into town easily and visit the famous railway model village nearby.

Overall, a very comfortable and convenient stay with fantastic staff and great food

I would still visit them again
Pros:

Our stay was very good. Staff is totally incredible. However. It would have been better if they had AC in the room, and getting in and out of the bathtub shower was difficult and a challenge especially since the door stop was in the way. Otherwise. I would recommend getting this place again.

No AC, and getting in and out of the shower. I could see that seniors would have a problem.

Pool was unbelievable really enjoyed it

Cons:

Bed was very uncomfortable and could also feel all the springs,
Also walls are paper thin we came away for a relaxing weekend and both night we wore woken by people screaming and fighting or kids running up and down the hallway at all hours of the night !! Also I found stuff at breakfast not very friendly they could look a bit more approachable! Also rooms needs to be updated. Staff at reception desk was fab and very helpful .. also done dinner in restaurant on both nights and food was unbelievable.. both busy nights and service was on point

Make sure you have timetables that are accurate and bigger plates at bfast don’t want more food just lager plate

Short and sweet
Pros:

Location good. Walking distance of town. Clonakilty is a hidden gem. Late bar was lovely. Music on the night was great. Staff we came in contact with were very helpful and nice.
