Staff consistently praised across reviews — front desk described as friendly and helpful and the breakfast attendant 'John' repeatedly singled out as exceptional and attentive.
Location
10
Several guests noted a very good location, walking distance to the beach and convenient for local destinations.
Room Quality
4.5
Numerous maintenance and comfort issues reported: rattling AC, broken bed, damp/moldy rooms, loose shower arm, exposed piping, musty pull-out bed and other wear-and-tear problems.
Amenities
8
Mixed reports: some guests found the pool clean and usable, while others noted the pool was cold or out of service and the fitness center was very small; overall amenities are functional but inconsistent.

Perceptions vary: unexpected parking charges and room condition lowered perceived value for some, but excellent staff and prime location help many guests feel the stay was worth the price.

Pros:

Black Mold/Mildew throughout the room/bathroom. Bathroom not very sanitary or safe. Safe arm in shower came loose & out, almost made me loose my balance where I hurt my back. Anyone entering the building can access elevators without anyone noticing. Easy access to all floors. Not a safe environment. Free breakfast was not much to select from, but we checked prior to deciding to check it out first. Declined to eat there because of mold/mildew smell throughout the hotel. Fyi- the reviews indicated mildew issues before.

Cons:

Same as above!

Nice staff, terrible property
Pros:

The staff was very nice

Cons:

Breakfast not very good. Packs of Oat meal were so old they were uneatable and I had to throw it out. Fitness center was terrible. You could not get 2 people in there at the same time. Too small. The entire hotel was very, very dirty. The back of our bathroom door was very beat up and dirty. The hook was barely holding on. The switch plate was about to fall off. There were places that needed to be caulked and painted. The shower head was sticking out from the wall so the piping was exposed and there were large gaps that needed to be caulk. The room was very uncomfortable to be in since it was so dirty.

Will not be back.
Pros:

The location from the place we needed to bel

Cons:

Breakfast choices were minimal. All that was served was waffles, bread, bagels, eggs and sausage. The muffin bin was empty. The waffle irons took too long.
The room was not very clean. Freezer was packed with ice, hairdryer kept shorting, sofa cushions were dirty, and the soap dispenser in the shower was broken.
Also, I never had to pay for parking at a hotel before.
