Location
The receptionist was lovely and really helpful
As a solo traveller I felt extremely unsafe. The room had an awful smell of sweat and were really unclean. The facilities were tired worn and shabby or broken. I didn’t stay the night and travelled elsewhere.
The location was great with great access to the town centre
The lack/no of food available at the hotel
The staff were great!
The facilities were basic and the Aircon didn't work - during the hottest time of the year!
Ok nice & clean
A little out dated
Location / cleanness
Last Friday was 36c degrees I was told I have air conditioning but when I tested it wasn’t working instead it was blowing hotter air, after an hour of checking in I went to reception and told the lady about the air con and all she said that side of the building most air con are not working, my room was so hot I had to leave and went to another hotel, usually I pay less for this room ( 112 ) However I couldn’t understand why they charged me a £10 more for a room you can even breathe air in…
Quiet location
The staff are very friendly and welcoming couldn't wish more from the reception staff and the house keeping staff, they are 5 star. The rooms are spacious and cleaned every day. Nothing not to like about the hotel.
Cheap , clean and comfortable
Nothing
This was originally the Best Western and we stayed here last year. There was no one in reception and we waited for ages, the room was musty, mouldy and the beds were rock hard. The shower leaked all over the floor. When we arrived again we were shocked that this renamed hotel was the one we were at before and we were so disappointed, that we left. There was no parking anyway.
I liked the closeness of all the local shops and town and the amazing countryside views. Big tick from me on the part
The air conditioning was not cold enough and you couldn’t change the temperature below 19, the room I was I had to take out the air filter and wash it because it was absolutely disgusting, and full of dust and fluff, also there is no food option which is a little disappointing.
I feel the grounds could do with a little or a lot of attention, there’s a big smelly skip round the back and it generally looks a little run down.
