Easy check in, friendly atmosphere and room was nice with a back patio.
The AC was in a odd spot, breakfast was okay (burnt hard sausage, the milk was warm and the barking dog across from us.
the beds were comfortable
lots of things needed improvement or updating. Broken tiles in the bathroom, broken toilet seat, the pool and hot tub were not working. Carpets frayed, breakfast was so-so. Saw same garbage on the floor of the hallways for over 12 hours.
Difficult to get out of the driveway to go anywhere.
Was not even close to the beach.
Had to walk a long ways to even get to the elevator
Couldn't find a luggage cart when we left.
The outside was pretty
The pool was broken and has been broken for a while even tho they are not letting guests know before booking. Door to outside where handicap parking is is broken. We decided to try and make the best of it and went up to our room to get settled and when we went to leave the room the door handle broke off on the inside of the room. The staff was extremely RUDE. My husband and daughter went back upstairs to get our things to leave and they got stuck in the room. The bigger older looking lady at the front desk said she was sending help but continued to mock me. After 15 minutes waiting I went upstairs myself to let them out. The front desk lady kept telling me to wait outside someone was coming. Whole experience was TERRIBLE. Once we left and found another room, we discovered it’s a well known fact in that town that that place is dirty run down and the staff are terrible. Worst experience I have ever had at a hotel.
Parking
Dear Management Team,
I am writing to formally log a complaint regarding my recent stay at Comfort Suites in Lincoln City from August 8th through August 10th.
On the night of August 9th, our stay was severely impacted by an ongoing noise disturbance from the room directly above ours (Room 213). The guests were excessively loud throughout the night, making it nearly impossible for my family to sleep. My children were so exhausted the following morning that our trip — including a six‑hour drive home — was significantly affected.
We notified the front desk that night about the noise issue and requested assistance, but the situation was not resolved. Then, during checkout, the clerk did not give me an opportunity to explain what had happened. I was asked only for my room number and immediately checked out without any acknowledgment of the problem.
Because the hotel failed to provide the basic standard of a quiet and restful environment — and did not address the issue when notified — I am requesting a full refund for the night impacted by the noise disturbance. I booked my stay through Booking.com under confirmation number 6975987922.
I look forward to your prompt response and resolution to this matter.
Sincerely, Daniela
Location and comfortable
No pool or hot tub after they told us it would be working just not heated they decided to shut it down that was the main reason I booked this hotel I had my sister stop in and ask before the canceling date and they said yes it would be working and after I checked I had to ask very unhappy with my stay this time
Ambience and the parking. Great reception and staff are welcoming.
Shower and bath tab water was not easy to control
The price was ok, but the value was poor. Also, being non-refundable was a bad deal considering how bad the stay turned out.
I reserved an accessible room with 2 queen beds. I bed for our granddaughter. I use a wheelchair and access to a bathroom with grab bars is very important.
I was told by the desk clerk that the only ADA room they have has 1 king bed, but the Booking website doesn't state that. The clerk also said it's only for 2 people. They didn't offer any add-on beds and suggested our granddaughter could sleep on the floor.
We only stayed one night, but paid for two.
And the pool was down for repairs, but the clerk said that it is closed down repeatedly.
The website and the property should state that there is only one ADA room. And the property should state the policy on how many people per room.
Two senior citizens and their 10 year old granddaughter should be able to stay in a room that has one king bed if that is the only option.
Room was nice and it was quite
We booked a room with a jetted tub and the jets did not work in our tub.
The pool heater was down so we couldn’t swim which was one of the reasons I paid extra for the hotel room
Nothing
Smell
We liked having the back room on hallway was quiet. Room was spacious and breakfast was great.
Room 201 had dog pee and wet dog smell bad. Would have liked a shower curtain so water didn't go everywhere.
The location is nice, right across from D Sands beach. They did let us change rooms. Breakfast was not bad.
The smell of our first room smelled like dirty wet dog. The second room smelled ok but then by morning it was wet dog smell. The pool heater was not working and hot tub water looked pretty gross.
It smelled like wet dog stains on carpet staff obviously tried to clean. We did not want to stay in that room and they would not move us so we left and did not complete our stay.
See above
great breakfast room was large
horrible parking the person who checked us in did not say anything about wifi, how to get to the room, bkf. time .... nothing that would have been helpful
Nothing
Everything was old ! Soon as we walked in , walls and the carpets looked so old !
The hallways were awful !
In all , the place felt like a $50 per night motel. We were very disappoint !
…It certainly didn’t match its name
