Close to home makes for a nice little get away without going far and was a very pleasant experience.
There wasn't anything we did not like.
Beautifully appointed and comfortable. I enjoyed both the common areas as well as my room.
Nothing
The hotel was very clean and well appointed. Staff was very polite and helpful.
Windows didn't open up.
Whenever I travel to Buffalo, I always stay at the Reikart House, even when I’m working downtown. The location is very convenient to 290 to get to downtown very easy drive. The front desk agents are very welcoming and the homemade baked cookie is delicious. I love that my car is conveniently outside an entrance and not in a parking garage. The room is large and very comfortable and decorated very well. The property is not too big so walking from my room to the lobby is easy and the lobby is lovely with a roaring fireplace.
We have a new favorite hotel in the Buffalo area, and certainly a new favorite Williamsville lodging option. Fantastic stay in February.
The location is excellent, a very quick straight line drive from all that Williamsville has to offer. I wouldn't describe it as a walkable neighborhood strictly because of the 40-45 mph zone it sits in.
It may have been because it was February and there wasn't a ton going on locally, but this is one of the quieter hotels I've been to in a long time. The lobby is really nice, and was never busy, and the room was incredibly quiet. We didn't hear other people, TV's, anything. I'm sure it's busier in the summer time, but this was an excellent stay for relaxing.
The room was really nice, well appointed and spotless. The bed was beyond comfortable. The front desk team was friendly and accommodating. I got everything I asked for, extra pillows, water, and utensils for a dessert we brought back from a local restaurant. They didn't do the "thanks for being gold elite" thing, but who cares.
I could even see the EV chargers from my room. We'll definitely be back on our next trip to Williamsville.
I really do not want to give this hotel a great review, but I must! I don't want it getting too popular and the prices jump sky high. This hotel is a hidden gem located in Amherst NY (Buffalo Area). Right from start you're greeted with a happy friendly smile and given the VIP treatment. We received fresh cookies with three varieties to choose from; we were also given bottled water all for free. Check in was swift and seamless, the lobby smelled amazing with a Vanilla scent and seating around a large fireplace which is constantly lit. The hotel overall was very quiet as was our room. The bed and bedding were super soft, the best bed I've ever slept in !!!! Some rooms have a fireplace, ours did not. The bathroom was large, up to date and beautiful. Amherst is a good walking town/shopping area, we enjoy ice-cream in the summer while walking through the park taking in all the sights and sounds. I found Reikart House after becoming frustrated with another nearby upscale Hotel/Restaurant, sadly that hotel relies on its name "Grand" name and restaurant. While the restaurant food & service is tops, the rooms are not. I won't go into detail; you can read my reviews on that hotel under My Reviews.
Room decor, delicious breakfast, great service, attention to detail.
The bathroom in our room was too small.
Personal service by hotel staff. They were very helpful and pleasant. The room decor was very nice with a fireplace. Breakfast was delicious.
Bathroom was small with little counter space.
✨ A Hidden Gem of Elegance and Warmth – Reikart House, Buffalo ✨
From the moment we arrived at the Reikart House, it felt less like checking into a hotel and more like stepping into a living story. The air carries an immediate sense of calm — a graceful harmony of old-world charm and modern refinement. Every corner seems to tell its own tale: rich textures, ambient lighting, and artful details that speak softly of heritage and heart.
We were warmly welcomed by Claudia and Marty, whose genuine hospitality set the tone for our entire stay. Their kindness, professionalism, and effortless warmth made us feel instantly at home — not as guests, but as part of the Reikart family. They embody the spirit of this remarkable place: gracious, attentive, and sincerely invested in creating a memorable experience.
Our room was a sanctuary of quiet elegance — soothing tones, beautiful furnishings, and an unmistakable sense of serenity. The bed felt like a cloud, the linens crisp yet soft, and every thoughtful detail — from the curated décor to the morning aroma of fresh coffee — reflected the hotel’s dedication to comfort and artistry.

ayed here recently for work and thought it was such a strange experience. Overall the hotel was clean and the staff was mediocre friendly. The hotel looks and feels like a senior citizen home when you drive up and walk in. It feels like it was an old nursing home converted.
The rooms were mediocre. Maybe not as nice as you might have anticipated or expected on booking and given it is literally the most expensive hotel in town. The location was a little odd bit convenient it the airport. Overall the staff was fine. Didn’t go out of their way.
Traveled in business and had trouble sleeping given some weird noises but overall this was an ok stay.
If I could move into my room at this hotel, I would.
I think it was the best hotel bed I have ever slept in.
It is a pretty, classy hotel to begin with. It is clean and has a huge outdoor screen and patio area. Unfortunately the Bills lost last night.
I would have switched things around and stayed another night, but they were sold out.
I would love to come back.
Do not hesitate to stay here.
Parking is easy too.
Reikart is always a favorite stay when we go back to Buffalo for friends or family. Convenient location, good restaurants, clean and comfortable. The best are the people, I have seen many of the same folks at the front desk for years and want to do a special shout out to Marty and Jose who separately at the front desk went out of their way to make our stay ideal. We look forward to our next visit.
Reihart Boutique Hotel on 5000 Main Street is a haven of modern elegance and thoughtful comfort. From the moment of arrival, the serene lobby invites relaxation. Sunlight streams through large windows, highlighting a stylish seating area with plush armchairs ideal for conversation or quiet reflection
The guest room feels like a personal retreat. The king bed offers a restful sleep with its tall, tufted headboard and collections of soft pillows and bolsters. Every detail; from the crisp white linens to the ambient lighting, whispers relaxation, and the spacious environment provides a sense of privacy and luxury.
For those who need a workspace, the cozy writing desk is perfectly positioned beside geometric-patterned drapes, blending practicality with stylish design. The comfortable chair and easily accessible power outlet make it simple to stay productive, while natural light filters gently through the window.
Reihart excels at combining boutique charm with modern amenities, making every stay memorable. Each space feels carefully curated, promising both comfort and inspiration in the heart of the city.
I thought it was a nice hotel. But I stayed at the Hyatt Place next door for 1 night and it was 1/4 of the price and had a nice breakfast. Nice but not as nice as the price.
Excellent
Nothing
I love to travel and this is now one of my favorite hotels. It's in the details. The friendly and attentive staff. Jose is on top of the list. If you asked for one of something, they gave you two. Artful design with a background of history and music. Private car service to and from the airport and great breakfast choices. Loved it.
Friendly staff, fast internet
