Very good hotel and comfort stay
Pros:

The location of the hotel is very good. Clean room and good view. The bathroom is small but very clean and functional

Cons:

The breakfast starts exactly at 6:30am. You even can’t enter 2 or 3 minutes early. If want to have a quick breakfast and go to the airport, have to make good plan

Arrivando in auto non c'è un aerea per fermarsi anche solo per scaricare le valigie e il garage dell'hotel è veramente piccolo e confuso.

Pros:

Location was perfect. Within the downtown core. They have car chargers in the parking garage. Worked well.
Staff were friendly.

Lovely stay at Thon Hotel Alesund
Pros:

Great location and stunning view of the harbor and town. Bed was comfy, breakfast buffet was sumptuous and bathroom modern. Were able to walk quickly to excursions, restaurants and shopping. Sauna in harbor right behind the hotel. Nice lobby bar and decent gym.

Cons:

Shower door tricky and water leaked around it. The curved windows made storing luggage difficult and it was difficult to close the curtains and block out the sunlight...which stayed up until after 11pm.
