Luxor experience
Pros:

Everything.
The staff is polite and friendly in every department. Rooms are nicely furnished and decorated. The food was delicious and fresh, so many choices, you lose your mind. But one particular person I would like to mention is in the guest relation department is Sandy. She is a beautiful person, professional, and ready to find a solution to satisfy the needs of guests. She is the cream of creams. Bravo Sandy and others, too.

Cons:

Sometimes, smoke comes from the cruises boat.

Para estancias cortas esta bien
Pros:

Las vistas valen la pena y la atención del personal, terraza grande en comun y tienen tambien piscina, es el estilo europeo pero se ve que empieza a ser viejo por falta de mantenimiento y mejoria. Teniendo en cuenta que estamos donde estamos, este ya es un hotel de lujo

Falta de limpieza . Nos ofrecieron el desayuno de pago y al comentarle que todos los dias saliamos de madrugada no nos dijieron que los hoteles tienen costumbre de prepararte el desayuno para llevar.. asi que no contratamos este servicio por falta de información

A relaxing Nile-side stay in Luxor with beautiful views
Pros:

We had a pleasant stay at Steigenberger Resort Achti, enjoying the beautiful Nile views and the resort's relaxing atmosphere. The overall experience was comfortable, and the property offered a lovely setting to unwind in Luxor.

Cons:

The breakfast could have offered more freshly prepared Egyptian vegetarian dishes for a more authentic local experience. It would also have been nice if a room upgrade had been possible, subject to availability. Althogh they were kind to prepare us breakfast box when we went for an early morning trip to Valley of Kings and Karnak.

Pros:

They prepared a special surprise for us as it we were celebrating our honeymoon :)

Cons:

we were given the garden room which was on the ground floor opposite to the staff working area. and we were hearing noises in the morning or late at night.

The view on the Nile is amazing.

Cons:

We had 1 very bad restaurant experience in the a la carte "middle east" restaurant.
I ordered the mixed grill plate and the meat (lamb chops) were totally burned and uneatable. This was the first time in my life that I complained in a restaurant and requested a new plate. The waiter just took the 2 lamb chops off my plate (?!) and returned with new ones, which were also burned black, so I didn't eat them.
When I got the cheque, I wrote my complaint on the ticket (also first time I ever did that). Shortly after that, the restaurant chef came to our table, apologized and offered us a free dinner in the italian a la carte restaurant. The food there was excellent, 5*.
