Unfortunately, our experience was quite disappointing. The Wi-Fi did not work at all for three days. When we checked in, nobody informed us about the issue. They simply explained how to log in. When we found out is wasnt working at all and we asked when it would be fixed, we were given different answers and promises every time.
My boyfriend was unable to buy an eSIM and needed to contact someone, but we were literally told that it was our problem. We understand that the Wi-Fi issue was not entirely in their control, but the situation could have been handled much more professionally.
The food was also very disappointing. We ordered a salmon platter for $21 and received around 70 grams of salmon, which felt extremely poor value for money. After confronting them about it, we were given some extra, as the portion was clearly unreasonable. Also, the same dishes were different every time we ordered it and every time the dishes lacked al lot of ingredients that were listed on the menu.
The ambiance was very nice and peaceful, the staff were super friendly. We arrived at almost midnight but we were still attended to beautifully by the receptionist I don’t recall his name. We also had wifi issues due to a maintenance in the city Sandy was kind enough to send an actual router to our room because we complained. I thought that was very kind. Youstina was also very pleasant. 10/10 experience

Overall, we had a very pleasant stay. Ahmed and Catherine at reception were incredibly lovely and helpful, and they arranged packed breakfasts for us to collect early before our tours, which was greatly appreciated. Tarek at the bar was also very friendly. The pool was lovely, and the beautiful views over the Nile were a real highlight.
The main disappointment was the food. Although there are several restaurants offering different cuisines, including Italian, Middle Eastern, a tent restaurant and a buffet, the food overall was quite poor. Much of it was dry, plain and lacking in flavour, and the quality did not feel particularly high, especially considering the prices. This was unfortunately the main downside to an otherwise enjoyable stay.
