Avoid Avoid,Avoid.It's not a very good hotel.the meats were all undercooked raw/or pink inside especially the chicken i did complain but still all not cooked the plates wereeither dirty,sticky not washed properly.,lifts always takes ages to come.or breaking down,reception staff were not very helpful and quite rude,they wouldn't help a disabled man,who wanted to come into the hotel to inquire about staying,he soon changed his mind.and people throwing some sort of liquids off top balconys and wetting people,,I complained to reception but they just completely ignored the situation. Avoid this hotel.theres much cheaper and nicer hotels for the price,,if you do stay,do not go all inclusive maybe just bed,and go out for your food there's alot of nice cheap restaurants to eat at.i will never stay here again,it was only made famous by the TV series benidorm.and it was only the swimming pool they used to film the series.

Me gusto todo. Pero quisiera destacar a Juan , jefe de sector. Por su excelente atención, su cercanía a las personas y amabilidad. Gracias a él nuestra estancia fue muy agradable. La comida excelente, tiene de todo para cada tipo de gustos. Parece que estás comiendo en un restaurante de mucha calidad. Muy limpio y si tienes alguna intolerancia o limitación en alimentos Juan te lo resuelve.
Merece la pena alojarse ahí . Nosotros volvemos y lo recomiendo sobre todo a familias y grupos.

This was booked as an all inclusive but this is not the case as you need a voucher for drink which is taken off you and you have to get another one.
The room service is sadly lacking too as the the room wasn’t serviced until after 2pm despite the cleaners being on the floor from 9am far too slow with no as to why it’s sooooo slow.
Also the rooms are not great they are dated and poorly done with no attention to details at all. The shelves by the beds poorly fitted and broken l, walls in need of a paint and dirty skirting boards. The bathrooms are poorly finished again no attention to detail.
The hotel is in need of a revamp to modernise it and a better job done of the fittings.
For the price paid for all inclusive you can get a far superior hotel that is modern, clean and finished to a high standard.
I would urge the hotel to use the money they are making to put a big investment into the place and bring it into the modern era.

The hotel communal areas were kept quite clean and the staff were nice and helpful. However, we only had breakfast twice in the week we stayed and it was ok, the usual buffet. The lifts are an absolute nightmare. They take ages and generally go in the wrong direction first before getting to the floor you’ve requested! Three of our seven days we were left with no towels and had to phone down, and ended up waiting nearly an hour, which is not great when you’ve just got back from the beach. Two days we weren’t left any toilet roll, again had to phone down. Although there is a fridge in the rooms, kettles if available can be hired for 25 euros, 20 euros returned upon returning the kettle. The cleaning of the room left a lot to be desired and our sheets weren’t changed for the whole week! There is only very thin sheets on the bed to sleep under, and I was cold at night so I asked for a blanket two nights running but never got one. Some of the antics we witnessed in this hotel were not the fault of the hotel, and also not for the faint hearted. We won’t be returning.

Booked via Jet2 and I have to say found it appealing quality, booked as all inclusive which it is clear not. You are given a token to use at check in that is kept by the bar staff and you have to pay to get the token replaced, cleaning is to a poor standard and had to wait until the afternoon each day to be issued with clean towels. The food is a very basic offering and not the quality you would expect for the price you day. I would not recommend this hotel to anyway…

I stayed in this hotel 2 years ago and that it was good,the food was good and rooms were the usual Spanish hotel room.. However,this time I can see a difference,there are to sides to the hotel,it looks like one side has had an update,but they need to improve on the other side,it's shabby and dated,the toilets in the reception area are so badly in need of some kind of update,the rooms are reasonably ok ,clean and comfy bed,the food is shocking,the dinner is poor quality,nothing is hot,really you shouldn't have to put your food in the microwave,I had to give up going to the restaurant as it's not worth the disappoinment.

Stayed here for the 2nd year running, but will not stay here again. Very expensive, I know prices rise in half term. Staff friendly and helpful. Rooms basic and dated need a refurb. Shabby decor and fittings, balcony very small. On the plus side beds comfy and clean. Air con useless and mouldy fridge. Bathroom fitments in bad condition but you do get a bath and a shower. Saving grace is the lovely pool area very large. Never went to the entertainment as so close to so much more outside the hotel so cannot comment. Food lukewarm and not much choice, we got by but had a couple of meals out. Have had a lot better food in Benidorm would not recommend. Plus side weather was great and hotel is very central.

Beautiful pool area lovely clean room and a well positioned hotel. Went half board and the food was lovely. Really enjoyed my stay here.

Todo muy bn, buen hotel

We had a great time here. Hotel was spotless, the cleaners worked all day. The room was cleaned every day with new towels provided. The reception area/bar/pool area was always clean.
Room was good, comfortable beds and sofa bed. Shower was really good. Air con was slow but did the job.
Location is great, 7 min walk to beach. Lots of shops, pubs, restaurants.
There’s a lot of choice in restaurant but we struggled to find something for evening meal so went to restaurants outside. Snack bar was great for kids.
Staff were all friendly.

Room was good, pool was good, food was shocking, not a single clean glass for 2 days in a row at breakfast. The plates were dirty and you’re lucky if you can get a lift, prepare to walk the stairs a lot. Charge you for a cup at the bar if you forget your tokens. Lives off the show, staff very friendly however. Stinks of weed

Room:
The room was great my only niggle is that the AC could be a bit stronger.

Cleanliness:
The hotel is clean and have now complaints.

Noise:
If you are on the entertainment side of the hotel you can hear it up until 10:30ish but its not bad as its pretty decent music.

Food:
Right.... this is my first BIG complaint. We were there for 1 week and EVERY NIGHT it was chicken and vegetables or fish. There was no variety so we ended up going out for food.

Elevators:
The other complaint. The lifts took forever. They would go to the bottom floor, then the top floor before coming to your floor. Then it would stop on every floor below yours before reaching the lobby.

Overall:
Room Is good, friendly staff. Pool is nice.

-was rooms was clean and comfy beds, lots different choices off food ,local to beach shops bars ,nice beach, didnt hear much noise wise air con worked well was 31c while was there. Staff was ok well part from older life guard who literally wasn't looking as a boy almost drown a lady had helo him out even then life guard stood watching, young life was great he saved my son who had difficulty in water. Within a second and dod 1st aid on my foot .
3 days out 4 went for breakfast and the plates still have day before food under neath lot them one occasion I picked 5 plates up as had mayo fron day before put me off made me feel sick so skipped breakfast. Day one partner kept been followed by 2 women outside and while buyin kids snacks ar shop outside nxt door he got picked pocket out lot money, cash and card , hotel was useless when needed help on this ,outside smelt like a urine, rooms were very small for family 4 kept banging knee legs getting round, had fringe in room but no cups 2 use. Wouldn't go back also pool rules we ridiculous cant use swim aids in big pool only in small pool

Lovely hotel very clean, large selection of hot and cold food on fully inclusive, large pool area, very satisfied I would come back

The only reason for 2 stars is the pools are absolutely breathtaking, the location is good, and Raph (staff member) has the sweetest soul,

Everything else, Horrific!!
We were so excited to stay here as fans of the show Benidorm, but we were extremely disappointed within minutes of arriving,

The food was absolutely disgusting, I would go to say a lot of it was inedible,
We paid for half board, and every night without fail, we ate elsewhere,

The lifts are torturous, half of them don’t even work, and when they do, It takes 10 minutes for the doors to close, and the lifts even break down multiple of times, which doesn’t help when you’re on the 11th floor!!

The rooms are awful, Don’t stay here unless you want to book in with a chiropractor,
The beds are so uncomfortable, The decor is disgusting, there are holes, cracks, You name it throughout the walls and doors,
The rooms do come with a lot of facilities, including toiletries which was a bonus, and a lot of storage,

The walls are paper thin, You can hear the next room going to the toilet!
One thing I will say are the showers are powerful and very hot,

If you’re not all inclusive, It’s very expensive to drink here, It’s worth it to go to the markets next door, and store them in your fridge instead,

You couldn’t pay me to stay here again!

The hotel is ok all the staff are rude the reception staff are unhelpful and the bar staff at pool bar are even worse our room has not been cleaned beds not made all the maid does is empty the bin for two days floors are filthy your feet are black from walking on them I will never again return to this hotel it is awful the breakfast is ok that’s about it can’t believe this is a Meliá hotel can’t wait to go home if your English expect to be treated like crap !!!!! Honest review !!
