Pros
- The a la carte meals were absolutely delicious and would recommend. The tapas bar is gorgeous for a lighter lunch. The staff noticed I was pregnant and suggested a change to the dinner that was better for me.
- The staff were very friendly and always incredibly helpful. Though the weather was rubbish for a few days, they tried to come up with alternative entertainment to suit the rain/clouds.
- The pool area was very nice and clean with plenty of sun loungers available at all times of day.
- The amount of drinks included in the all inclusive was extensive with good quality alcohol and catered for all tastes. All cocktails were available as delicious mocktails for non-drinkers.
- It’s a lovely setting and the general ambience of the hotel is very relaxing.
- The rooms were silent. On leaving our room, we could hear loud music from the room next door in the corridor but could not hear it at all from our room. The curtains are also very good at blocking out external light and even when the sun was up, our room was still pitch black.

Cons
- The food in the buffet was very average. Lots of choice but overall bland and often lukewarm/cold.
- The Malva restaurant was often understaffed which led to plates being on tables for long periods of time. The staff were doing their best, there just weren’t enough of them.
- Drinks in the ginger bar could often take a long time. Again, the staff were doing their best but there just weren’t enough of them.
- The mini bar wasn’t refilled every day. Having spoken to reception the first time, they brought us some water but it did happen a couple more times.
- Booking for the a la carte restaurants was ridiculous. If a time where the app became available had to be a thing, it would make more sense for it to be at a time where most people are still awake. We did get reservations but only because we set alarms for midnight to complete a booking.

Overall, we had some bad luck with the rubbish weather but with the hotel having such lovely lounge areas, we didn’t feel too disappointed with our holiday. We did feel that the hotel was a 4*, not a 5*.

Definitely not the five star experience unless you spend thousands upgrading!I don't understand the good reviews.

Wow! I don’t even know if my words will do it justice on how wonderful this place is. My partner and I just returned from the most incredible couples holiday, and we cannot recommend this destination enough! From start to finish, the entire experience was a 10/10. The facilities were absolutely beautiful, perfectly maintained, and set a wonderfully romantic atmosphere for our getaway. We also loved the dining; the food and ambiance were fantastic every single night.

However, what truly elevated our trip and made it unforgettable was the great hospitality and warm nature of all the staff. From the moment we walked in, we were treated with such genuine kindness and attentive service. Everyone we encountered went out of their way to ensure we had everything we needed, making us feel incredibly valued and pampered.

A sincere thank you to the entire team for making our romantic trip so special. A special shoutout to Samu, Chandi, Karen, Amaia, Daniel and Carol! They were fantastic 🧡 If you are looking for the perfect getaway with outstanding service, this is the place to go. We can't wait to return!

Lovely hotel and swimming pool. The hotel is cleaned and maintained to a very high standard both inside and out. Pool area always looks pristine and the greenery and trees around the pool make it a lovely setting. Staff always busy cleaning, tidying and maintaining.
Staff are exceptional. Nothing too much trouble from any member of staff and they are always friendly. Food and restaurants are also excellent particularly "Samira' and again staff exceptional.
Cannot find anything to fault.
Would highly recommend this hotel and Melia hotels in general.

This is such an amazing 5 star hotel. Everything is delivered to such a high standard. The staff are warm and welcoming and genuinely demonstrate pride in their jobs. The Guest Experience team ensure your stay is so special and tailored to your needs. I particularly want to thank Chandni, who ensured my stay was absolutely perfect.
The restaurants and service are such high quality - delicious menus.
The design of the hotel and its gardens is exceptional and the rooms are so comfortable and well maintained by brilliant housekeeping staff.
The attention to detail on everything is so noticeble.
I was sad to leave, but hope to be back again.

We honestly had the BEST time at Paradisus Salinas and were so sad to leave.

Every single member of staff we came across was amazing. The entertainment team were brilliant and brought such a fab atmosphere every day, reception were always so helpful, and honestly everyone throughout the hotel was just lovely. The level of service and attention to detail was probably the best we’ve ever experienced on a holiday. You can really tell how much pride they take in making sure guests have the best experience possible.

The rooms were beautiful and the beds/pillows were unbelievably comfortable, genuinely one of the best nights sleep we’ve had whilst being on holiday. Housekeeping were fantastic too and the room was always spotless whenever we came back. I also loved that they dropped off little chocolates late afternoon every day, made it extra special.

The food deserves a special mention because WOW. The buffet was hands down the best hotel buffet we’ve ever had. So much choice, everything tasted fresh, and it never felt repetitive. We actually ended up chatting to quite a few other couples during our stay and so many of them said exactly the same thing.

We also absolutely loved all the activities during the day. The yoga, art meditation and aqua classes were brilliant and made the whole experience even better.

The location of the hotel was great, only 15/20 mins from the airport and 2 minute walk to the beach. We also walked a little further and found beautifully clear water, like a little cove.

There are only two tiny things we think could make it even better. The first is the sun loungers, some of them were broken and they’re not the comfiest if you’re spending the whole day by the pool. Even just adding thin cushions would make a huge difference.

The other thing was the lack of pool service during the day. We were really surprised by this because the service everywhere else in the hotel was SO good, especially in the evenings. A few other couples mentioned the same thing to us too, and we all agreed it would just make the experience even more perfect.

But honestly, those are such small things compared to how amazing everything else was. We had such a lovely trip and made some beautiful memories here. Huge thank you to all the staff for making our stay so special, we’d come back in a heartbeat.

First class hotel with outstanding staff who are a credit to the hotel. Food in the main buffet very varied and hot. Non alcoholic cava served throughout for those that don't drink alcohol. Pool area very spacious and no sun bed battles. Night entertainment very good but bring warmer clothes because ot was windy and chilly most nights. Well recommended and we hope to return in 2027

Fabulous hotel. All the staff were exceptional. Hotel was absolutely spotless. Staff worked extremely hard throughout the hotel. Entertainment was great. The only criticism would be buffet was a bit repetitive, I have stayed in four star hotels where there was more selection - duck, veal etc.

The hotel is great, very clean and you can tell it’s very well maintained, All the staff that we have encountered have been helpful and friendly. The 3 A-La-Carte restaurants have been amazing and the food has been fantastic. Housekeeping has been great and the staff friendly. The entertainment every evening has been super fun. We’re definitely coming again plus The Reserve staff have been lovely especially Paula and Chandhni.

Everything was amazing

This is a beautiful hotel. Tastefully appointed with open public areas and excellent rooms. The pool area is extensive with many opportunities to relax whilst having a dip or simply enjoying the fresh air and sunshine.
The huge plus for the hotel is the staff. Friendly and helpful and willing to chat whilst providing efficient and effective service.
Food options are varied and full of interest and flavoursome. Bar service is excellent again with a large variety on offer.
Nightly entertainment is of a high quality.
All in all an excellent place to enjoy the sunshine of Lanzarote.

I have travelled the world and stayed in some of the leading hotels. However for 35 years I have repeatedly returned to Salinas. In all its forms and changes it is the most magical place. My wife and I love it.
Location, history, art. Gastronomy!
Most of all the incredible surroundings and people who make it their objective to ensure you have a special experience.
I always use the reserve for that extra luxury and people like Carina and Chandni go above and beyond.

Had the most superb honeymoon at this beautiful hotel. From start to finish it has been perfect! The staff in all areas were fantastic and so so attentive. Milagrosa who we saw daily in the buffet style restaurant left such a great impression.such a sweet and kind soul! Made our holiday experience even better! Exceptionally hard working!

We’ve just returned from a wonderful two week stay at Paradisus Salinas.
From the moment we arrived, the staff were consistently excellent—always friendly, always eager to help. Two people in particular deserve special recognition: Chandni (Reserve Reception) and Delgado (Reserve Pool Bar). Their professionalism, warmth, and genuine care place them firmly in the category of intergalactic megastars. They made a great holiday even better.
As someone with severe walking difficulties, I was especially impressed by how the hotel treats guests with mobility scooters or electric wheelchairs. Unlike many places, there was absolutely no discrimination or hesitation. Staff were quick to step in if they saw me struggling, and their support felt natural rather than forced. It made a huge difference to my comfort and confidence throughout the stay.
The hotel and grounds are spotless and clearly well maintained. My Junior Suite was large, bright, and thoughtfully furnished. The balcony was a real highlight, equipped not just with a table and chairs but also sunbeds and an umbrella, which made it feel like a private little retreat.
Across all restaurants, the food and beverages were consistently good, and we never had any difficulty booking the speciality venues. The only small observation is that at La Graciosa, the lunchtime menu felt stronger and more varied than the evening options, which were a little limited in choice. Still enjoyable, just not quite as impressive as the midday offering.
All things considered, it was a thoroughly enjoyable stay — so much so that we’ve already booked to return in September.
