Tres bien et conforme pour un 5 etoiles
Pros:

Pros:

Good hotel with excellent food choice.
Pros:

A lovely hotel with friendly staff and excellent choice of food.all hot and well displayed.
No issues with getting serviced at any of the bars.
Cleaning staff work very hard and keep everything immaculate. Towels changed daily. Lovely lunch in the Tapas restaurant.
Would have been 5 stars but due to the shower flooding the bathroom floor awarded 4. When I removed the shower trap it was full with hair (neither of us have long hair) once I had cleaned this out the shower drained. I did report to maintenance using the App. Also the mini bar was not stocked one day and I had to phone reception. They did come straight away and restock it.
A lovely hotel and would return.

Incredible stay - ignore any bad reviews
Pros:

Really good all inclusive and a really rewarding experience

Came here end of July with my girlfriend and we had such an amazing time.

Drinks are amazing, table service in the evening, large range of cocktails. Beers and wines are really good too. Johnny Walker and Chivas Regal as their whisky was also very impressive.

Food was amazing. Buffet was one of the best we’ve been too. Great selection, and stuff for every palate. Italian was also great

Architecture was really good and i loved the story of the hotel and the artist who help design it. It had real class about it without feeling snobby.

Evening entertainment was so brilliant. Especially when the rock bands were playing.

Service was fantastic. Yousef was always amazing. However, all staff work very hard and make the hotel great. Especially who I assume was the general manager who told me he loves his Yorkshire puddings in East Sussex ahaha.

Such a relaxing week we were very sad to go. Will definitely go to Paradisus again

Amazing hotel and staff.
Pros:

This is such a beautiful hotel, made better by the fantastic staff. Always greeting you with a smile and can’t do enough to help you have the best stay. I couldn’t give it higher praise. Carolina, fany and hamza in the reserve pool bar were so helpful and always ready to make you a lovely drink. Chandi in the reserve reception was so helpful and kind. Barbara in the entertainment team ran a really good art class. Thank you to everyone.

Excellent adults-only hotel – we’d happily return ⭐⭐⭐⭐⭐
Pros:

We stayed for five nights to celebrate my fiancé’s 40th birthday, having also stayed at Paradisus Gran Canaria last year. Once again, Meliá didn’t disappoint.

From the moment we booked, the communication was excellent. Every email we sent was answered promptly and helpfully, and the team even helped organise a birthday surprise in our room before we arrived. It set the tone for a fantastic stay.

The hotel itself is beautiful. The architecture, gardens and pool areas are stunning and immaculately maintained. As an adults-only hotel, the atmosphere was peaceful and relaxed throughout. There was a good mix of younger and older couples from different nationalities, and it never felt overcrowded.

Sunbeds & Pool

We’d read reviews mentioning a lack of sunbeds and slow pool bar service, but that wasn’t our experience at all.

Every morning we’d go to the gym, have breakfast and head out for a walk before looking for a sunbed, and there were always plenty available. We weren’t particular about where we sat, but we never struggled.

Likewise, the pool bar was never excessively busy. The most we ever saw was four people waiting, which we didn’t think was unreasonable.

Food & Drinks

The buffet was excellent with plenty of variety, and we certainly didn’t go hungry! The sushi evening was a particular highlight.

The Italian restaurant was also lovely and felt like a special occasion. Booking the à la carte restaurants was easy, and there were always spare tables while we were dining.

The cocktails were excellent too. We’d recommend trying both the pool bar and Ginger Bar, as they each make them slightly differently.

Rooms

The rooms were spotless and cleaned daily, with an evening turndown service. The minibar was regularly replenished and we never wanted for anything.

Gym

For a hotel gym, it’s one of the best we’ve used. There was plenty of equipment, along with towels, water and fruit.

The only small negatives were that some dumbbells occasionally didn’t match (we suspect they were shared with the adjoining CrossFit gym) and the air conditioning could be stronger.

Location

The hotel is an easy walk into Costa Teguise, with plenty of bars, cafés and shops along the promenade.

One thing worth knowing is that Lanzarote can be very windy. It didn’t spoil our holiday, but it’s worth packing towel clips for your sunbed as many guests used them. Also, many of the nearby beaches are rocky, so beach shoes are worth bringing if you plan to swim in the sea.

Departure Day

Our transfer wasn’t until 8.30 pm, so instead of paying €20 per hour to keep our room, we booked one of the courtesy rooms.

This was far better than expected—it was an actual hotel room with a shower, bathroom, bed, towels and fridge, giving us plenty of space to freshen up before travelling home.

Worth knowing

We paid for the birthday package, which included decorations, cava and a cake. It was a nice touch, but in hindsight I probably wouldn’t book it again, as the all-inclusive offering meant we didn’t really make the most of it.

We also looked into upgrading to The Reserve, but after seeing the facilities during our stay, we personally didn’t feel it offered enough extra value over the standard experience, which was already excellent.

You’ll also likely receive an invitation to learn about Circle by Meliá in exchange for a “special gift”. This is a presentation about their holiday membership programme, so it’s worth knowing what it is before deciding whether to attend.

Overall

Would we return? Absolutely.

This is one of the best all-inclusive hotels we’ve stayed in. The staff were exceptional, the food was excellent, the hotel is beautiful and everything felt calm, spacious and well organised.

Our only hesitation about returning would be Lanzarote itself rather than the hotel. The island is much windier than we’re used to, but that’s simply the nature of the destination and not a reflection on Paradisus.

We wouldn’t hesitate to recommend this hotel and would happily stay here again.

Just fabulous
Pros:

Honestly the best hotel! The staff couldn’t do enough for you and every single one made a point of saying hello. Management were very visible and checking everyone was happy.

The Reserve was absolutely worth the extra and made our stay so special.

Bookable restaurants were fantastic especially the Canarian tasting menu but the buffet itself was outstanding. Entertainment was a bit late in the evening and not great. I’d echo the lack of staff serving drinks in the Ginger Bar and also at the Reserve Pool Bar where we often had to queue . But staff work so hard.

Overall, a fabulous holiday and I’d go back in a heartbeat. Special thanks to Samuel for being equally fabulous and Delgado at the Reserve Pool Bar who was brilliant.

A lovely slice of heaven!!!!
Pros:

Just lovely.

Recently returned from a 9 night stay at this gorgeous hotel, which included private transfers to/from the airport, located about 15 minutes away.

It is stunningly unique, and has been renovated/upgraded to an amazing standard, I have never seen a hotel quite so visually beautiful, as it incorporates internal gardens and waterways, with a huge variety of local fauna on display, interspersed with hanging seats, overlooking water ponds.

The hotel provides extensive information regarding its development, noting the artists and architects involved and the eco-friendly principles, on which the renovation was based.

The adults only hotel, was already all inclusive, but we were offered the opportunity to upgrade to the Reserve, which is definitely worth it.

THE RESERVE BENEFITS

Our room was upgraded to an ocean view premier room, which had a balcony overlooking the beach, had a king size bed, and was fully equipped with a large shower, steamer iron, hairdryer etc.

It included an evening turn-down service, at which time all towels were changed for the second time, within 24 hours, a lovely touch, after long days by the pool.

Although slightly noisy, the air-conditioning unit, was very welcome, especially as our holiday coincided with a heatwave.

RESERVE LOUNGE,DINING AREA, TERRACE.
It had an integrated check in/out area, and the staff were available throughout our stay, to help with such aspects as pre- booking the speciality restaurants, which were quickly booked up, if done via the complex app/organising trips etc.

The lounge provided a range of snacks throughout the day, and had a fully stocked self-service bar, which included wines, beers and a full range of spirits, with a cool, covered terrace area, which was ideal for pre- meal drinks.

RESERVE POOL AREA.

The huge pool was surrounded by plentiful padded sunloungers, with parasols and bali beds, and was exceptionally well maintained and cleaned frequently, each morning and evening.

It also had its own bar area, where a wide range of drinks and hot snacks were available from 10 am until 7pm each day.

All the daily activities occurred in the second pool in the complex, so this pool was a calm, quiet area to spend the day, reading, relaxing and enjoying the sun and cool water.

Breakfast could also be taken in the lounge/terrace areas, all items were freshly cooked to order, with waiter service to your table.
It also offered a full range of continental breakfast items, ie, meats, cheeses, fruit, yoghurt and pastries, with a wide variety of speciality teas/coffees available.

RESTAURANTS

The main area was a buffet area, which provided an extensive range of meat and fish dishes, with various salads and pasta dishes available with a range of lovely fruits/desserts also on offer.

Drinks were served at your table, with very attentive waiters on duty.

There are three speciality restaurants, one of which served lunch and dinner, whilst two only opened in the evenings, all of which, (except the lunch session), required pre- booking, which could sometimes be difficult, if using the hotel app, but was not a problem for those enjoying the benefits of the Reserve.

ENTERTAINMENT

Multiple activities were available throughout the day, with a variety of indoor events, and outdoor, energetic events, held in the second, larger pool.

The evening programme involved a variety of acts, which, to be honest, were below par to entertainment we have previously enjoyed at another Melia hotel in Teneriefe.

The standard was not quite good enough and started very late, usually 9.30 pm, finishing just about 11pm.

My recommendation would be that the entertainment manager, located at Melia Jardines del Teide, (Teneriefe),be rotated throughout the Melia group, to ensure a consistently high standard of entertainment.

The only other problem we encountered, which had previously been highlighted in reviews, was the lack of service in the Ginger Bar.

Guests were discouraged from ordering directly at the bar, as orders were meant to be taken by supervisors, with waiters delivering orders directly to your table.

The problem with this system, is that there were never enough supervisory staff on duty to take orders, and a distinct lack of waiters to deliver drinks to the correct tables.

This led nightly to frequent long waits to have drinks replenished.

Most evenings, we abandoned the main hotel lounge/ entertainment area, and retreated to the Reserve lounge, to enjoy drinks in the lovely, quiet environment.

LOCATION
The hotel was within 15 minutes of the airport, located next to the beach area, directly accessible from the hotel grounds.
It was a short, flat walk to a variety of bars, restaurants and shops, with buses to further afield areas, available immediately outside the hotel.

In conclusion, this was definitely one of the best hotels we have stayed at, on a package holiday.

If the issues with the entertainment/drinks were resolved, it would be a tremendous place to enjoy your holiday.

If you can, please consider upgrading to the Reserve, whose benefits made this such a special trip.

We will defined be returning to this little piece of heaven in Lanzarote!!

Great hotel
Pros:

Just come back from 10 days all inclusive
Hotel very nice food very high standard
Service was mainly friendly good location on the beach not far from town
Good choice of drinks with branded shorts
Used all the restaurants favourite was
la graciosa great tapas for lunch which you don’t have to book
Didn’t upgrade to reserve didn’t think it was worth it as all rooms have a sea view
Not your typical all inclusive breakfast lunch and dinner was always fairly quiet no queuing at all for any food
Cons would be very quiet round pool no music no ball games not ideal when you have a 17 & 19 old they did get a bit bored.
sometimes you would have to wait a while for a drink in the day at shack bar
I did notice a bit of a two tier system in favour of the Spanish quests in service but suppose that happens wherever you go. Overall a good standard hotel would recommend
