Really Good stay in Valencia

Pros:

Habitación en el último piso, espaciosa y con buenas vistas. Buen desayuno con opciones sin gluten y tortilla y huevos recién hechos.

Cons:

Las almohadas no eran buenas, el aire acondicionado era un poco ruidoso y las ventanas dejaban entrar mucho calor, por lo que el aire era obligatorio.

Zeer goed verblijf.
Pros:

Prijskwaliteit zeer goed. Alles in orde en een zeer goede locatie, op wandelafstand van het centrum.

Cons:

Er zouden iets meer ligbedden aan het zwembad mogen liggen. Maar het was zeker oké!

Luxury hotel in the heart of Valencia
Pros:

Staff were excellent. Location was great for the whole city - taxis are so cheap but there's a bus stop almost right outside and a metro stop just a few mins walk. Pool is compact but great and there are usually enough loungers/seats for everyone. The beds are super comfortable, even the sofa bed. Good variety at breakfast but barista coffee would be nice.

Cons:

Possibly the price but then you get what you pay for.

Pros:

Het hotel was van alles voorzien, ontbijt was fantastisch en de locatie erg fijn aan de grote weg, voelde veilig en met de bus achter het hotel binnen no time in de stad/strand.

The roof terrace restaurant didn't open until the evening time, it would be nice if it was open for lunch. It would be good if there were a few more sun loungers around the swimming pool.

Después de esta experiencia, no volvería a este hotel ni lo recomendaría.

Quiero empezar diciendo que no me quejo del horario de entrada. Llegué a las 7:00 de la mañana y entiendo perfectamente que el check-in esté sujeto a disponibilidad. Sin embargo, la atención en recepción fue contradictoria. Me dijeron que hasta las 15:00 no preguntara porque la entrada era a las 16:00. Más tarde, sobre las 12:30, al cambiar el turno, otro recepcionista me dijo que mi habitación llevaba tiempo preparada. Una mala gestión desde el primer momento.

Al entrar en la habitación empezó la verdadera decepción. Las sábanas y la colcha estaban llenas de pelos negros. Tuvieron que cambiarlas. Además, el lavabo estaba roto, el grifo de la ducha también, la cisterna funcionaba mal y el aire acondicionado hacía un ruido insoportable.

Al día siguiente la situación fue aún peor: el aire acondicionado empezó a perder agua y la habitación quedó completamente inundada. Nos cambiaron de habitación, pero la única “compensación” que ofrecieron fue permitirnos hacer el check-out a las 14:00 del último día, cuando nuestro vuelo salía a las 8:00 de la mañana. Es decir, una compensación que no nos servía absolutamente para nada.

Cada día había que llamar para que repusieran las botellas de agua de cortesía. El último día no las dejaron y tuvimos que beber las dos botellas del minibar. Después nos las cobraron. Me parece un detalle muy poco elegante teniendo en cuenta todos los problemas que habíamos sufrido durante la estancia.

El desayuno tampoco está a la altura de un hotel de cinco estrellas. El buffet es pequeño, con poca variedad y una calidad bastante normal para el precio que se paga.

La piscina es otra gran decepción. En las fotografías parece mucho más grande de lo que realmente es. Es muy pequeña y, por las tardes, está completamente llena, con el agua sucia por la cantidad de crema solar. Resulta muy difícil disfrutar de ella.
