Wonderful hotel with exceptional staff especially the Chief Concierge Nguyen Trong Tuan and the Spanish guest relations officer. They were both amazingly friendly, helpful and really knew their city!
The two of them in particular made my first week in Vietnam incredible and memorable!
Everything was perfect, location on the center of shopping area, no need for a taxi or transport.
The hotel staff was friendly and professional
Maybe that need to review the food menu
A lovely hotel in a good location, approximately 15 minutes walk to the French Quarter. Really friendly and helpful staff and a warm welcoming atmosphere. My room was spacious with a large comfortable bed and a nice bathroom with a good shower. Spotlessly clean.
Breakfast was great with a good selection of food, both hot and cold. The bar area was nice and served great snacks and also a good menu choice for dinner.
Did not get time to use the Spa but did use the pool and though on the small side was nice and refreshing after a hot day sightseeing. Really enjoyed my stay.
I had a wonderful stay at Melia Hanoi and would gladly return.
From the moment I arrived, the staff made me feel welcome and took great care of me throughout my stay. Doan at reception was very polite and explained my Melia Gold benefits clearly. Huong and Quynh were incredibly helpful with several requests, including helping me top up my SIM card and giving useful recommendations around the city. Huy from the bell team was also very kind and patient.
Although I did not use breakfast or the executive lounge much during this visit, Tu in the lounge still took the time to show me around and was very friendly.
My favorite part of the hotel was definitely Garbo Bar. It became my regular spot in the evenings. Khang was fast and efficient, Manh was fun to talk to and shared some interesting insights into Vietnamese drinking culture, and Tinh told me about her ten years working at the hotel, which was really nice to hear.
A special thank you to Oanh, who made my stay especially memorable. She was incredibly sweet, warm, and welcoming. We talked many times during my visit, and she always made me feel comfortable and at home. She was attentive, thoughtful, and often brought small snacks to enjoy with my drinks. Her genuine and caring personality really stood out.
The room was clean and comfortable, and I also found the business center very useful for tasks that are much easier to handle on a computer than on a phone. The hotel has a classic charm, and the central location makes it easy to get around Hanoi.
Overall, I had a fantastic experience and would highly recommend Melia Hanoi.
Great location, convenient to visit the Hoa Lo prison. A large hotel but didn't feel like it. Buffet breakfast was nice with a lot of options.
This wasn't a huge deal, but we had an early evening flight so had arranged a late checkout and booked a car through the hotel to take us to the airport. When we checked out at the time, our car was nowhere close as they assumed we wanted to go an hour later, because that's when others go to the airport. We then had to wait 45 minutes for the car to arrive. We ended up being okay at the airport, but this was in part due to us able to use the Business Class check-in, there was quite a long line otherwise to check in at our baggage drop. They were quick to help and it was a misunderstanding; I'd just say to clarify it upfront when booking to make sure you're all set.
This was the first hotel we stayed at on our Vietnam and Cambodia tour. It was exceptional, first class, within walking distance of the centre. The staff were very friendly, nothing was too much trouble. The room was immaculate. The facilities amazing
Everything is perfect. Staff are so nice and the location is in the center of the city.
We have had a wonderful experience at the Melia. The beds are comfortable, the showers are hot and forceful, and Wi-Fi is very fast.
The buffet breakfast has everything that you can think of and everything you would ever want to eat for breakfast. Both Western and Asian cuisines.
The chief concierge, Mr. Nguyen Tuan, has been particularly helpful to us by booking an excursion and also several restaurant recommendations and reservations He is exceptionally friendly and of course, very knowledgeable about Hanoi. You can depend on him.
Consider this hotel when you visit Hanoi. You will not be disappointed.
Cleanliness and friendliness of Housekeeping staff.
Extremely HIGH prices in the bar for a water bottle ($6), cocktails, etc. compared to local prices. NOT ENOUGH tables set up for cocktail reception for people to stand and eat. Also, banquet food and lunch buffet food had very BLAND TASTE. Front Desk EXTREMELY SLOW service for check-in, questions, and check-out. They also will not exchange money BUY BACK FROM Vietnamese Dong to original currency, even though they sold it to you.
Hello Ang,
This is Susan and Peter Norton. We are now home in PEI, Canada (it’s a rainy cold spring lol) and we hope this message finds you well. 🙋♀️
We are reaching out to thank you for the hospitality you extended to us during our visit to HaNoi and you personally made our stay at The Level Melia HaNoi an exceptional part of our journey.
It was such a pleasure to meet you and we are very thankful, for you are such a kind person. Of all of the accomodations we stayed with in Southeast Asia, we had the best experience at your hotel
We truly enjoyed our time in VietNam. It is such a beautiful and diverse country and we feel truly blessed to have had the opportunity to learn, explore and be immersed in the culture.
You and your beautiful country will always have a special place in our hearts.
We are so glad we chose to travel to VietNam. It was a once in a lifetime trip. However, I think we can say we hope to be back at some point.
Cheers
Susan
