Hotel was nice. Nice entry with water fountain. The food at the restaurant was good however, had to wait a while for the food. The room was small but good enough. The pool was great and the workers there were nice. My kids really enjoyed the pool. I appreciate them having a pool area of 2 ft, my kids were able to play freely. My biggest problem was seeing a baby roach in the bed and also saw a big roach 🪳 in the bathroom by the conference room. Roaches are super disgusting 🤮
Had the room for a one night stay. Arrived to check in. Everyone was very friendly, excellent customer service. I do wish Sheraton would have informed me prior about the need for identification of the children.
The rooms were great! Had everything we needed and a few things more. Loved access to the Lounge that came with the room! All the staff at the lounge were friendly and accommodating. Nelsy who is the staff at the front desk lounge was wonderful especially with the kids!
The pool staff were wonderful! Food was good. Drinks were good!

As a Marriott titanium lifetime member, I have traveled the globe staying primarily in Marriotts. My experience at the Sheraton Santo Domingo over the years and throughout this current stay has been very enjoyable especially when I interact with Nelsy Montás. Nelsy who has been in the concierge lounge for a while at the registration desk should get promoted up two levels. Her customer service is impeccable. She solves problems quickly. She is solution oriented. And even though she sits on the outside of the lounge, she takes the time out of her busy schedule to speak to the customers sitting in the lounge to ensure everyone is having a great time. I can't say enough about her hospitality and service orientation. And even though I speak a bit of Spanish, my colleagues who don't speak it as well enjoys speaking with Nelsy as her English is impeccable. I really want everyone who can enjoy her service to do so. Thank you so much Nelsy for being so helpful and understanding.
From the moment I arrived the treatment was friendly and professional, when they saw my Marriott status it became superb. I was moved to the reception area at the 10th floor where the lady did an incredible job, I wish I remembered her name. The most memorable moments were at the 10th floor lounge where Nelson and Ana (I think that is her name) take care of you like you are royalty, and also the person in the morning, very special people!
The service while in the hotel is good. Unfortunately they do not report your stays with Marriott. I have called several times and they seem not to care for any of my requests. They tell me they will help, but they never do. Terrible after service.

La comida, aunque costosa.
En el checking super demorado que supuestamente booking habia hecho doble reserva y nos tuvieron mas de 1 hora esperando, la piscina super sucia asi como el mobiliario, un hotel muy desactualizado en muebles y con tapete las habitaciones que se sentía sucio. Realmente muy caro para lo recibido y para completar mi esposo tuvo un accidente por una rejilla mal puesta que lo tiene aun incapacitado y solo atinaron a darle una cura.
The experience I had at the Sheraton was excellent.
Highlight was being able to go up to the lounge on the 10th floor for snacks and drinks and coffee and such.
I would like to especially think Ana Santos (sp) for always being so friendly and welcoming. It is rare to feel so at home at a hotel. Thank you, Ana!!!
