Not what I expected. I thought I had booked the same Scottsdale Sonesta as another recent trip

Did not like much.

Cons:

This Sonesta Suite was very, very downscale compared to the other Scottsdale location. Deceptive branding policy.

Kitchen was very poorly equipped. Staff supplied coffee mugs, cookie sheets when requested, but there were no sharp knives available.

BAD Neighborhood. Again, very poor compared with the other Scottsdale Sonesta

The room had a bad smell to it when I first walked in I told the cleaning lady’s and they gave me a can of air freshener and told me to keep the can and spray as much as I want as me then I didn’t noticed til I was getting ready to leave that there was what looked like blood on curtains and possibly on the sheets

Cons:

There's a kitchen in the room that did'nt have one spoon, plate or cup to make my own coffee in. There was no one at the desk when I arrived to check in, had to wait 10 miinutes. Self check-out in the morning. Gloomy vibe. Not worth even the low cost.

Certainly adequate for the money, but could’ve been better.
Pros:

Location was great

Cons:

Most of the staff were great. One lady was less than helpful. Asked for an extra pillow or two and she said they didn’t have any. I think she was just too lazy to get them. Landscapers wrecked the pool area on Saturday, and there was still crap floating on Sunday but it was usable. They did provide an extended checkout since we didn’t get to swim on Saturday.
