Was better than we expected after reading recent trip advisor reports before we left

Mini fridge in room
Good sized room and adequate bathroom just very dated decor
Handy to bus and train stops
Being given guest card which allowed free travel on local bus and can also be used for free or reduced entry at attractions

Cons:

Awful mattress and pillow
No aircon so room was roasting although we were given a fan on request. Indoor pool was freezing and not very clean around water edge

The location was good and so was the breakfast

Cons:

It was SO hot, no air conditioning or even fans to move the air. There was a weird smell in the air too and cigarette butts on the floor of the hallways. It is very outdated and the furniture and carpeting is creepy. The picture on the front page isn’t actually what it feels like. I paid way too much for this too. I literally cut my stay earlier because I just couldn’t sleep there

Hotel Wittelsbacher Hof gerne nicht nochmal

Leckeres Frühstück und schöner Speisesaal

Cons:

Man darf davon ausgehen, daß alleinreisende Frauen gerne mal das schlechteste Zimmer im Hotel bekommen. Ich hoffe für alle anderen Gäste, daß das so war.
Befleckte Tapeten, stark in die Jahre gekommener Teppichboden, abgerissene Fußleiste, Balkon für alle einsehbar und mit lockeren Fliesen.
Auch für Garmisch-Partenkirchen kein gutes Preis-Leistungsverhältnis.

Die Saunatemperatur war über 95 Grad, das Schwimmbad etwas kalt.
Die Teppiche im Flur müssen ausgetauscht werden.
Vorhänge in den Zimmern sehr unordentlich
Hinter dem Haus wurde ein Haus abgerissen, das gab Unruhe und Staub im Garten und auf den Balkonen

Fin beliggenhed med mulighed for gratis parkering foran hotellet (dog stærkt begrænse antal pladser)

Det er uforståeligt, at der ikke samtidig er mulighed for en kop kaffe. :-(
