extrem schlecht: unter den ok matrazen im bett war einfach ein holzbrett (kein lattenrost). das fanden wir extrem schlecht für diese preisklasse und allem sonstigen. haben wir beim check-out auch an der rezeption gemeldet … ob das was nützt ??? und dass man für das grössere frühstücksbuffet noch zusätzlich einen aufpreis zahlen müsste finde ich bei diesem zimmerpreis auch etwas kleinlich …

Nice little hotel
Pros:

Great spacious room, good sized bed for 2 people and a big balcony space. Nice big windows for fresh air and a breeze when it's hot, the air con unit also worked very well. There was also a comfy single chair and foot stool to chill on. The room also had full length mirrors and a mini fridge. It was lovely and quiet during our stay, we didn't hear anything from outside even with the windows open (apart from the birds singing). In a great location, very close to the train station and along the bus route so it's easy to get around. The bathroom was also a good size, with a decent shower (although not big enough for 2 people at once).

We didn't go for breakfast or any spa facilities so I can't comment on that. But the staff in the Royal Plaza were we checked in were very friendly and helpful.

Cons:

The hair dryer in the bathroom wasn't the best.

The position of our balcony was that you can see other guests balconies and was overlooked by another residential building. Not the best if you want some privacy.

The decor in the room was fairly dated, but that didn't really effect our stay per say.

Amazing place
Pros:

We were greeted by the nicest staff, who gave us tips, and made checking in very easy. The room was great, we even had to bathrooms, which was unexpected surprise. We had a bus stop 1min from the hotel, and the location was great as you walk straight to the promenade from there. We loved it!

Pros:

The room seems to be refurbished recently. Great value in terms of access to the Royal Plaza hotel across the road. Decently priced for the location compared to other hotels in Montreux
