Really fab location, perfect if you want to soak up the Jesmond nightlife or great restaurants but not to far to walk into city centre.
No air conditioning but fan provided and opening window.

Friendly welcome and greetings at all times. Super helpful and quick response to any questions you may have had to ask. Terrific sleep. Comfy beds. Super quite my room was at back of hotel. Front may well be less,as it gets really busy in the outside of the hotel in beer garden. Breakfast was super tasty,freshly cooked as requested. Phoenix Breakfast was my favourite. Many different choices. Also do a lovely lunch menu and excellent dinner option. Drinks promotions offered on a daily basis. Looking forward to going back to the Caledonian.
It's a walk of about 10mins to nearest metro. Although you can get all day ticket for £4.90. Superb value and last train back is midnight.
