Het verblijf in Capsis Astoria Hotel was uitstekend
Pros:

Ontbijt was overcompleet. Locatie was in het centrum en daardoor goed uitgangspunt voor bezoek stad. Badkamer is ruim en comfortabel ingericht.
Personeel was zeer behulpzaam, met name de receptie. Informatieverstrekking was uitstekend.

I’d happily stay here again and recommend it to anyone wanting to experience the heart of Heraklion

We had a wonderful stay at Capsis Astoria, and I would happily recommend it to anyone visiting Heraklion!

The location was perfect for us because we wanted to stay right in the city centre and really experience the local atmosphere, culture and everyday life. Capsis Astoria was exactly what we were looking for. We particularly loved the restaurant’s location, with direct access to a lively street market, which added to the authentic feel of our stay.

Although we didn’t have breakfast at the hotel, we were very impressed by the friendly and helpful staff. They kindly looked after our luggage when we arrived before check-in, which we really appreciated.

Another highlight was the beautiful rooftop area, with its relaxing bar and swimming pool. It was lovely to unwind there while taking in the views of the busy city centre and surrounding buildings.

Personally, I would definitely stay here again. We loved being right in the heart of Heraklion, with the city’s energy and local life right on our doorstep. If you’re looking for a hotel that puts you in the perfect location to explore and experience the real Heraklion, I would wholeheartedly recommend Capsis Astoria!

The hotel reception area could be better, but not bad at all, as this was in the city centre.

Perfect hotel for a work trip
Pros:

Comfy hotel, very nice and friendly staff, perfect location with a bus stop right outside and the city center on the other side, and the harbor within walking distance. Very cool rooftop bar and pool. Comfy bed, clean room.

Cons:

Unfortunately, my room faced a very boring backyard. Also, the rooftop bar was right on top, so there was loud music until 11pm. But it was fine during the night.

An ideal city stay.
Pros:

The staff were all very welcoming and helpful. The location is perfect if you want to explore a really interesting and vibrant part of Heraklion.

Cons:

The hotel has a lovely rooftop bar area (and pool) but had to remain closed during windy weather. I'd have happily sat up there during a category 5.

Eu e minha esposa gostamos de tudo: da recepção, do conforto da suíte, do café da manhã e principalmente, da localização do hotel; próximo de tudo que um turista precisa em viagem de férias ou de trabalho.

Cons:

Não gostei do tempo disponível que nós tivemos para curtir melhor o hotel e Heraklion. Voltaremos!

Fantastic location and lovely staff.
Pros:

Location is ideal. The staff were amazing. Great value, off season. I can’t speak as to high season. Room was large and comfortable.

Ottimo albergo moderno e ben tenuto, in posizione ideale per visitare Heraklion. A pochi passi dal bellissimo Museo Archeologico e di fronte alla fermata del comodo bus pubblico per raggiungere Cnosso. Molto buona la colazione. Ottima la pulizia. Personale gentile e disponibile. Molto bella la piscina sul tetto con bar e ristorante e vista sul porto, la città e i monti. Nella zona intorno molti ristoranti anche di cucina tradizionale. Assolutamente consigliato.
